I'm surprised not to see more people looking for a quiet start landing in Swamps. Solid to very good loot in my experience, lots of bridge-connected structures and the way they run from north to south makes looting a breeze. You can go from north to south and then crash the party in Hydro dam / Repulsor, or go south to north, if you want to avoid combat for a while longer, since the people landing in Wetlands / Relay - if anyone lands there at all - usually steer towards the center of the map after a quick looting.

Happened to me all day yesterday. I would make one error, get downed, and cause a 1v1 that felt like a game of chance.
Mine is still Lifeline. Having someone who can deliver upgrades every few minutes is great for the team.
Plus you can use shield and health packs quicker.

Got a nice win yesterday, nothing today apart from a squad wipe with two juicy grenade kills followed up with a clean wingman headshot. Clip uploading rn.
It's a source thing. Certain settings require restart/reloading of assets and you can't do that midgame.

This is definitely the reason. I’ve been playing mainly as Caustic, and when I unlocked Mirage I got 8 kills straight away
so I went like 5 matches just constantly dying in the first few minutes of the round
then I got a good team. got 10 kills in a match for the first time and wiped out an entire squad by myself at the end with the mastiff and became the champion, so fucking good

Hemlock on single fire is underrated. I swear, it's better for long range than the long bow since you can spam fire it easily.

I've been winning like 5 out of 10 games over the last couple of days on average. Either we've gotten much better or everyone else is shit.

Just carried a team to a win. 1v3 last circle on artillery. Used Banglore's smoke and got past them to respawn teammates (didn't expect them to do any damage in the last circle but somebody else to aim at i guess). 12 kill game.
R-99 with atleast a lvl2 mag and fully equiped Wingman is an unreal combo. The 99 just rips through armour/health and the Wingman is that OP gun.
Think they need to nerf both the peacemaker and Wingman. Everything else feels balanced.

Yeh wingman magnetises to headshots even on PC. It's an incredible weapon that feels like i'm holding my dick
