The general shift towards open world design in that Ubisoft style has made me appreciate the kind of campaigns you get in a game like Gears of War 4. It's like eight hours, you get exactly what you want in terms of set pieces and Marcus Fenix quips, and then it's done. It never overstays its welcome.

I realistically can't download a game like Forza 7 (100gb) because it'll take all day and I have a 1tb monthly cap.

Digital prices on console are garbage as is, too. 90% of the time a new game is 50+ raheems compared to buying physical for 40. PC is fine, there's enough storefronts for games and cd keys to keep prices sane.

It sounds like they should've launched it for $30 or $40 given the campaign is short and there isn't much to the multiplayer right now with only three maps and two modes. In a sense, I think it perfectly fits into Game Pass, at least the campaign portion. Like, if you're already subscribed, check it out, but paying $60 for it seems like a stretch.Amazing that Uncharted: Lost Legacy can be churned out as a side project for $40 but Microsoft thought it'd be kosher to pass off Crackdown 3 for $60 as a full and complete game.
