This game had a far more problematic launch than BF1, The Gamers being mad about a woman in a trailer, and a delayed BR mode. Expectations should've been adjusted accordingly.

Makes sense really. They expected 8.3m but due to the delay, the game was on sale for a shorter period of time and thus sold less.
