the 1st console had the right people in the right spots. which is why you had these games that didn't make much sense from a making millions standpoint but are great for people that actually own the fucking thing. did sony even make money off the last guardian? I'm sure microsoft is in a much better position to take financial hits than sony, but they just want to make the lowest possible risk games over and over again. meanwhile you had a bunch of weird shit on xbox. granted it cost less to make, but if sony can eat stuff like tlg, than microsoft can surely eat a hit on funding otogi 3. or dino crisis 3 (dino crisis 3 does not exist, shut up). it's not like these games are gonna bomb.
nobody wants fucking gears 6. take that money and fund 2 or 3 japanese games. new shit, or sequels to old shit. something. but you're just gonna announce the new console with a forza trailer, a gears trailer, a halo trailer. like, really? lost odyssey 2? yeah people would probably be at least excited about a new big ass jrpg with high production values. but here's forza 8 instead.

Everything MS has game wise is just extremely underwhelming. Sony's are too at this point, but at least they still got a few key series or devs that I am looking forward to, unlike MS that only really has Forza that I would think about buying.

The terrible performance even on the pro mixed with the chromatic aberration is straight up making my head hurt, when looking at it. All dark souls games > bloodborne.

Are they still working with them? From what I remember, they only agreed to help finish up TLG, and are completely independent (and far from the full team ico team too).
