Since Nintendo forgot how to make dpads I picked up a 8bitdo SN30 Pro+. First time getting a 3rd party controller and I'm impressed. I can actually play my 2D games docked again. I resorted to playing 2D games undocked with my Hori dpad otherwise.
3-4h into Blasphemous, still enjoying it, but yeah, art aside it's a bang average metrodsomethingvania.
I feel like I can't really enjoy games anymore if they have a predetermined main character. Limits my imagination.

Loved the first one. Reckon first person melee is just aiming for an acceptable standard, it will never be genuinely good. Even the best exponents of it only excel compared to the shite you get in the likes of Skyrim, Bioshock and Dishonored.

I think going forwards, VR has the potential to revolutionise FP combat. Yet to see the potential realised though. Everything I’ve tried so far is too easily cheesed by mindless waggling.
