By Mystikal McGhee Go To PostU can play ssx 3 on Xbox via b/cAh, cool. Might honestly be part of the reason I pick up an XSX
Looks good too
Wish there was a decent way of playing NFS: Underground and Tony Hawk: Underground too. Might see how well my MacBook can emulate it

Yeah if you're trying to play some game released for windows 95 in 2019 of course there's probably going to be issues . That doesn't mean that there still isn't thousands of games you can play from different eras.
Imagine hating on something that should be a good thing because Daddy Sony has been incompetent in implementing it for their users smh
Even Crysis from 07 won’t run on Win10 without unofficial patches and mods. At least that’s the case for the Steam version.
Thing with older PC games that stop functioning properly on a modern computer though is that someone, somewhere has put the time and effort in to mod or patch it to get it running again.
Unless the game is just ridiculously obscure.
The bigger problem is the lack of availability in legitimately buying games when they’re never put on digital stores or taken down from sale after just a few years, sometimes less. Like the last Driver game. Though that’s a problem that extends to consoles too.

But you can get it to work. Sony refusing to let people access their back catalog without paying for a streaming service or buying it again on an online platform is horrible, and they should feel bad.
But yeah, nobody else should so anything with BC because Sony cant or wont. Stop it.
SonySlaent alive and well.
tbf if a game that's from 2007 doesn't run it was probably the developers fault

When does Control get good? Have the level 5 keycard and the story is more than weird. The map layout and were you have to go is unintuitive and I don't care about any of the collectable info dumps since there are too many of them and the tiny font size is making it too much of hassle to care about it.
And JFC don't get me started about Halo:Reach. What a turd.

I don't even think you can play Ground Control without extra effort

Releasing the source code is everything. People took Myth 2 and made it run 64 bit native on DX11, it's over 2 decades old... That's crazy.
But that's the thing ... people not named the developer and not involved in the OS made it happen by spending their free time doing it over a copious amounts of hours. Smokey made it sound like it's click and play, which is absolutely absurd.
At least with consoles, you know they're taking care of their bigger titles in some form. They NEED them.
You want to play Fallout 1 and 2? Good luck, bitch.

So I'm on my third run of RE2, the best game of 2019. I did Leon A, Claire A, now I'm on Leon B.
Still don't know why people have a hard time with Tyrant. He runs in straight lines at you and he's super easy to avoid once you learn your way around RPD. Y'all gonna hate RE3.

So I'm on my ~10th run of DMC5, the best game of 2019. I've S ranked all the Nero missions except the last one on Hell and Hell.
I have no idea how I'm going to S rank those V missions. At least with the Dante ones, I can spam Dr. Faust.

been playing re2 and im not made for horror games, keep saving up all my ammo "just in case" and am terrified of all Lickers, can only play in 30-40 kin bursts
great game tho

Just walk past them. The don't attack unless you run, shoot or touch them.
By data Go To PostThe dumb square disney gameah yes, but i didn't play that one.
Speaking of GOG, they’re great all around with the old games on their store. I’m pretty sure anything you buy from them will work natively on modern hardware and Win10.
That does mean buying a game you may already own again to run on your PC without any hassle. Something I’m personally okay with since most older games were on disc and I ain’t about that cd drive life.
I mentioned I’d buy a Xbox U for the backwards compatibility earlier, if I do I would be buying all the old games again digitally to run on there. If you’ve still got physical copies of games going into this next decade you’re basically dead to me tbh.

I prefer discs. Will keep it at that.
GOG is great. They're really trying to bring something to the table, unlike other platform holders. Fucking EA.

At least the EA access sub is cheap and pretty decent. Like £20 for a year, all the Crysis games (DONT PLAY CRYSIS 2), Titanfall 2, etc. Loads of smaller indies too. Good value.

If there's more than one, and there is in a couple spots, you can always throw a flash bang to stun and get around them.
great game tho
And the game is pretty good about giving just enough ammo, so you don't need to be like crazy stingy. But you can always shoot zombies in the legs and then run around them when they can't walk anymore.
Finished BoTW, about 2.5 years after starting it.
It was fun enough, but the last couple of bosses were easy as shit, especially Gannon in the castle

In the B scenario, Mr. X can actually be a whole bastard. I speedrun it and he has fucked over my runs because he shows up somewhere he shouldn't be, I miss the timing to run past him and get yeeted into zombies, or his presence causes me to have to navigate bullshit. I probably see him less than 60 seconds, out of the 57 minutes it takes me to beat Leon B.
B scenario, RPD2, blue hallway gets nicknamed Hell Hallway, partially because of him. You can get royally screwed over, if you aren't prepared.

Resident Evil 2 is weird because I really, really like it and it's easily my GOTY, but I also have a ton of issues with it. But like I still consider it a 9/10 even though there's several major issues I have that's pretty much a huge part of the game.
I can see why The Last Guardian took 10 years to develop. 7 of those years were probably spent just trying to get Trico right. Incredible piece of AI and animation. Probably about halfway in but TLG might be Team ICO's best game.

By diehard Go To Postnow it will never fit in those Japanese apartments of people who were never going to buy it anywaywhat about the us military currently serving in japan? somebody think of those poor people.
xbox size reminds me of the fact that they made the PC Engine way bigger in the US because they thought it wouldn't appease to americans who want big things.
