By rodeoclown Go To PostI got Days Gone. I think I kinda like it, but I also only paid $20 for it.same boat, I kinda like it but didn't pay 60 for it
By LFMartins86 Go To PostYeah, same for me. I am enjoying it but there are so many loading screens on that game. The loads are bad, some of the mechanics are more obtuse than they need to be, the writing is not great, but the actual playing part of just riding around and scavenging is pretty cool.
By toku Go To PostDMC5 12 bucks at cdkeys…tempted but the franchise hasn't really done much for me since 3.It’s a steal at that price

By Flutter Go To PostI am still confused about the efficacy of that cooling system.
By Mystikal McGhee Go To Postit looks like a monstrosity, surely the retail console will have nothing to do with thatIt would be odd if retail looked similar because I don't recall dev kits ever looking like retail before.

ps2 dev kits were pretty much a ps2 with a few more ports and a bit larger, and pretty sure PS1 was the exact same model just in different colors.

Yeah they have, which is also why I doubt it will look like that. But sony have done it before, and I never doubt sony's ability to make ugly ass consoles.
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postwhatever as long as we get the banana controllers backi seriously was excited about them because of potential ergonomics; they looked comfortable as fuck but i would need to hold them to be sure.

I'd love to see a goofy, ugly, gaudy looking console instead of BOX
BOX
SLIGHTLY SMALLER BOX
Boring ass silicon valley minimalism shite

By Hitch Go To PostTo my untrained brain, that actually makes perfect senseThe center vents are the head-scratching part. If they are both exhaust (which is what has been claimed) then they better be weak as fuck fans because they would start to push hot air back into the system if not. And if they are weak fans, it's not really doing much cooling.
If the center vents are both intake, they are fighting over a limited amount of air for intake, resulting in either louder fans as they try to compensate for that or just weaker cooling.
If one side of the center vents is intake and the other exhaust, then it is just pulling hot air into the system and creating a hot box situation. This isn't a scenario I would seriously consider them doing.
Since it is claimed that they are meant to be stackable and that all visible vents are exhaust, that means the only intake vents are on the rear. I'm kind of concerned that the airflow path (intake -> components to cool -> exhaust) isn't direct enough to be really efficient. It probably works, but these things will be much louder and run hotter than is strictly necessary.
And if they are meant to be stackable and run close to the devs and are running hotter/louder than needed, hoo boy, that's a bad combination if you have to work in the area of them.
By Hitch Go To PostTo my untrained brain, that actually makes perfect senseGenerally speaking, you don't want fans to be competing for airflow, or recycling warm air. I don't see how both of those things aren't happening with the layout of those things since internally on each side of those vents is a fan facing another fan, and they're seemingly blowing air in opposite directions from each other.
The only thing I see that it has going for it is it seems to be taking advantage of fully negative pressure, which can be beneficial for temps at the expense of dust build up. The latter isn't much of an issue if it's just a dev kit unit, even if it makes it to the retail design, it's not like any console ever has given a shit about dust build up inside the system anyway.
By data Go To PostI beat Crash Bandicoot so feel free to ask me for adviceMate I beat 1 and 2 and got all the crystals and gems.

Dude wakes up at 8:15? Definitely not a go getter
I am so close to clearing 4th Survivor (Hunk's mode in RE2make), in under 7:30. Got 7:38, with a bunch of grabs and taking a lot of damage.
Sounds like it's pretty likely we're getting a new Tony Hawk game.
I'll try to be optimistic and hope Vicarious Visions is making it.

Finished Pokemon Sword. It was decent, but I was way over-levelled by the end, so I steamrolled the game. Doing the raids in the wild areas give you too many exp candy.
Also, given this was the first Pokemon I've played since G/S, I can't help but feel there are far fewer puzzles than there used to be. I think R/B had a lot of little quests, this felt incredibly point-to-point
