By /sy Go To PostYeah, it’s just shit no ones going to notice
well certainly not on your 720p screen
Sy acting like the option of running the game at 60+fps alone isn't enough of an upgrade. Truly the mark of a console pheasant.
It’s crazy, watching the df video. They do side by side Xbox vs ultra pc and the images are identical. So the only notable advantage pc has is performance.
Shame.
Shame.

Mods are the real upgrade tbh
By /sy Go To Postso the only things the PC version has over the console version are frivolous IQ options.
Hi, welcome to the world of PC ports. This is usually how things pan out. On the odd occasion that a game looks drastically better than the console version, 95% of the PC community will collectively spit out their dummy since their mid range GPU can’t run it at max settings/60fpegs.
Thankfully it seems that RDR2 falls in the category of looking drastically better. Can’t wait to replay it on a 16K ultrawide with 9080Ti in a decade.

By Laboured Go To Post"30fps is good enough" is one of the most extreme forms of mass gaslighting of our times.Still cant tell the difference. If you put the same footage in 30 and 60 fps in split screen I can kind of tell then but if you showed me one on it's own I wouldn't be able to tell you if it was 30 or 60.

By Hitch Go To PostAny reason not to do the diablo campaign with a seasonal character? If you have a bunch of non-seasonal Paragon Points and want to make the game easier, I guess.
Also, do Adventure Mode and a combination of Rifts and Bounties if you want to level up and get gear quickly. Story mode is for when you get max level and want some guaranteed Uniques.
e: play on a minimum of "Hard" difficulty, iirc. It doubles the XP and item drops for not much more mob health/damage

By Kibner Go To PostLike, even when watching live sports on TV, I can easily tell a 30 vs 60 fps video feed.Sad tbh

By Laboured Go To PostConsole version doesn't even have bounce lighting, moonlight or elongated shadows, which are not just higher IQ features.I don't know any of this so does it even matter if it's not there
think about it

Lol how do you feel about motion smoothing then.
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postthe true test is if you can see the difference between 140 vs 240
I can tell the difference as soon as I drag my pointer from the 120hz to the 240hz monitor.
I don't notice screen tearing much though, and I'm glad I don't.
By Ciaran Go To Postyou must reach a certain level of OCD to appreciate these thingsThey have to justify spending like £2k on a monitor when you can get monitors for £90.
some of you lot need to be on meds
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postthe true test is if you can see the difference between 140 vs 240Anything above 90 or so is visibly imperceptible for me. I don't know about it feeling different, though.

Could say the same thing about literally any hobby out there. No matter if it's bicycling, car people, audiophiles, football nerds or whatever. If you are not interested in it, you will probably be ignorant about why they like the best of the best gear, over something to a fraction of the price, that also does the job, but just not as well.

I wish that was the same for me lol. Immediate difference seen and felt for me when going from a multiplayer game like Apex running above 144hz and Metro exodus running at around 90 fps.
that 90fps now feels haram to me.

Why wear football boots when you can wear running shoes and kick the ball the same etc.

give me a normal bike and let me bike
By Ciaran Go To Postthat's cool as long as they realise its all inconsequential for normal people lol
yet funnily enough, it's usually the 'normal people' lecturing enthusiasts about things they clearly know very little about. i dont know how many times i've had to explain why i am not bothering with twitchy/action games on pc games locked at 30fps. 'lol ocd/autism'
By DY_nasty Go To PostI'll never be ashamed of being a Gamer
neither will i. none gamers just dont understand how good a monster energy drink is, compared to other drinks.

why can't you just be a normal dad

Absolutely need over 100 for anything multiplayer though. Shit just don’t feel right at anything lower.
i cycle loads and i'd rather go cheap on everything outside of the actual bike. Fuck going full bike twat on the clothes, shoes or gear.
Death Stranding is a dangerous game. Putting a lot of people to sleep, afraid some of them will never wake up.
The genius of it, you hate to see it.

Didn't some biologists at Cambridge prove a couple of years ago that the human eye only sees at a maximum of 83fps anyway?
