I have a cycle with Overwatch
'man this game fucking sucks now'
'-cool flashy new hero/skin-'
'ah man remember ovrwatch i want that skin so i can get really into it when it gets good again'
and then I play it to get the skin and it somehow SOMEHOW keeps getting worse. I can't believe it. They made the game 2 tanks 2 DPS 2 Support mandatory which is a GREAT idea but the heroes arent balanced around it. So right now the game is '2 gigantic unkillable barriers on short cooldowns(Sigma/Orisa) and Doomfist pummeling in and out of the enemy with ungodly barriers'
I'd rather go back to complaining about Genji than this.

A couple of hours in and the shooting in Borderlands 3 still feels like garbage. Seems like I'm going to have the same problem I had with Borderlands 2 i.e. what's the point of having zillions of guns when they all feel like shit? I'll give it another couple of hours before I send it back to GameFly to see if it gets any better.

Weapons feel good and each weapon is unique and you can find exactly your style. It's just too bad they fucked up elsewhere a ton.

It's how OW handles barriers. There is virtually NO punishment for losing your barrier. It recharges SO fast. I've always held that barriers should have a HUGE cooldown if they break. Like I was pushing when Brigitte was OP 'just have her shield shatter make her get stunned' easy fucking fix.
'Just pick a hero who can destroy shields' like people don't realize how fucking long it takes to destroy a shield. Imagine if they made Bastion work on offense. He's the only hero that I think can reasonably deal with barriers. The ONLY one and he only works on defense when he's being babysat.

There isn't enough shit differentiating characters in OW for me to care. Plus fights in WoW actually lasted a while and unless you were just on lock down from a rogue you could actually cast stuff and sometimes make a difference.

Isn't WoW PvP basically just a side activity though? There are surely far too many abilities, items, stats and classes to balance it properly.

Problem with OW now is it's 70% team resource management. It's a big part of why it can be incredibly frustrating to play.

Like I said, Overwatch feels stale, and rather than making interesting changes, they doubled down making the meta even worse.

Yay just won my 3rd game of Tetris Maximus. Still can't believe I even won 2 games and I had no idea how to do T-spins lol. I was just practicing how to do T-Spin doubles and it's taking me awhile to get the grip of it. Not even gonna attempt to do T-spin triples until I can get down doubles down pat normally and when the game speeds up.
Speaking of which Maximus feels so slow compared to Invictus. And I'm guessing all the really good players are just in Invictus since even when I was just solely learning T-spins I've managed to place well.

Imagine shite talking about BL3 - the guns look and feel so much better than BL2 where you were just a camera attached to a floating gun. From what I've seen, the OG looter-shooter is back.
