By s y ngmi Go To PostNo an epic gamer moment is throwing a crab at a person who beat you at a smash brothers tournament.
I thought an E.G.M was uninstalling a game in the middle of a tournament
Pre-rendered. The original was like that and you had to replace some files to get them to play even the 1080p versions iirc.
By data Go To PostAnyone buy Planetfall?I did!
By blackace Go To PostI did!how is it?
By Flutter Go To Posthow is it?I have been playing around with it all afternoon. It is pretty good. The AoW world works really well with tactical combat and troop/hero upgrade paths are super awesome. It's a bit lacking in "character" at times for lack of a better word.... For example one of my colonies had a turn where everyone was super happy... so production went up. What do they call this "Happiness event" lol Hopefully some of the Stellaris writers will help with the DLC down the road..
Core game is pretty awesome so far, it is far more combat heavy than other x4 games tho..

Playing the WoW classic stress test since my irl friends wanted to, and the very first thing I do is play an orc warrior hitting boars in the desert with an axe
Feels right man.
Feels right man.
Unlocking of the Ahn'Qiraj gates was pretty insane. C'thun still one of the coolest bosses of all time. Just whispering f'ed up shit to you as you fight.

It always struck me that Breivik talked about this openly. Recruiters are actively targetting gamers.
By Facism Go To PostI mean I mute people as soon as I know they're Europeans. Save myself a lot of griefdo european third worlders count as europeans?
I'd probably get days gone in the summer sale if sony would bother sending me one of those 25% off coupons
but they don't
cunts
I'll wait further, will probably have more bug fixes and added shit by the time it's 20

Haven't encountered many bugs tbh. There are a few things like melee attacks not connecting and stuff like that, but overall it ran pretty fine so far.
They also added a shitload of other things, but I'm not gonna bother with that for now.
Decent game so far.
By Bold 2 in One Go To PostKind of done with the open world stuff.I was actually suprised that it has less bullshit than expected.
Zero desire to play days gone
You've got those zones with nests of infected, some enemy camps and that's about it. There are some side missions like killing a certain person or capturing someone.
There's nothing else, well apart from random encounters popping off like in GTA, even got the ? sign on the map.
Fast travel works and so I'm skipping alot of the driving.
But I get your point and it's nothing great, so rather focus your energy on a different genre.

milkable creatures huh
Wonder how bad the downgrade is on PS4. As far as I know, Sony will not certify a VR game if it cannot hold a steady 60fps.
The Beyond update pushes No Man's Sky further still, introducing features and improvements that might come as a surprise even to those who've been following its progress since Hello Games announced it earlier this year.
There are mounts - rideable aliens! - denser and more varied biomes, new construction and crafting, tameable creatures, milkable creatures, cooking and recipes, a new galactic map, a new discovery menu, a new word-learning system, all-new NPC races, NPC encounters on planet surfaces, improved base building that introduces logic and electricity systems and can allow for bigger bases. It can even allow, as Hello Games' founder Grant Duncan mocked up before our visit to the studio, for a fully functioning game of Rocket League to be played out within No Man's Sky, complete with a working scoring system.
It's truly dizzying stuff, so no wonder that Hello Games has simplified the messaging around it to three core pillars. You know VR as one of them - and it's the one that's been most explicitly detailed, thanks to previews that took place at GDC earlier this year. Going back to No Man's Sky in VR, this time on a fully kitted out Valve Index, is just as staggering as before, and it's tempting to say that in this deep, rich space sim the medium just might have found its killer app. It's the ultimate way to play No Man's Sky, and could be one of the ultimate experiences on VR - though of course, that experience is there for just a fraction of No Man's Sky players, even if some of the numbers Murray alludes to are pleasantly surprising.
milkable creatures huh
VR is the way to play No Man's Sky, and it presents plenty of ways to play too, supporting all major headsets as well as their various control methods - be that PlayStation Move, Valve Index Knuckles or Oculus Touch. There are teleportation movement options, if you desire, or more direct movement, while in the ships themselves - which now boast fully-modelled 3D interiors - you can grab the flight stick in one hand and the throttle with another, making the whole experience brilliantly tactile

After originally saying they weren't going to show campaign before release, Microsoft to show Gears 5 campaign at Gamescom. Higher ups at MGS must've been freaking out because it releases in a month and public interest is so low.
I can't believe they're trying to do so little that's new. The fans have played roughly 5 iterations of virtually the same fucking gameplay loop and modes lads, might want to switch it up a tad.
By Laboured Go To PostI can't believe they're trying to do so little that's new. The fans have played roughly 5 iterations of virtually the same fucking gameplay loop and modes lads, might want to switch it up a tad.Well, they've been saying for over a year that the campaign is different and huge, but then they've declined to show any of it ever. They were literally going to release it without ever showing campaign. Their marketing for this game has made zero sense.
Leaks have suggested that it has a straight up hub city that Kait can walk around, talk to people, get missions in. Which actually would be new and different for the series, but they had to show WWE wrestlers instead of this at E3 for reasons.
By Kawhic Go To Postif the campaign is actually good then the marketing team needs to get the boot. They should do that anyway because the only Microsoft game this generation that I think was well-marketed was Halo 5. The TV campaign and Hunt the Truth were awesome. (Minus the part where they misled everybody about the campaign.)
at chapter 9 in feth and edelgard is routinely one-shotting scrubs with her 40+ damage per attack, gave petra the high-crit sword and she'll get a 50 damage hit every three tries and enemy attacks always miss her cause her speed stat is absurd. really need more archers though as flyers are a major pain in my ass. wish there was more creative difficulty beyond making you chase after npcs/having rando enemies appear at your flanks.
Walmart pulls violent video game displays from its stores, but it will still sell guns
Walmart is taking down displays of violent video games in its stores in the wake of recent shootings. But the company plans to still sell the controversial video games – and guns.Posted this in poli but relevant here too. America y'all.
The change in policy does not apply to the sale or display of actual firearms. As the nation's largest retailer, Walmart is also one of the largest sellers of guns and ammunition in the world.
