I played a match of Vermintide 2. Seems fun. Still don't like first person melee but the gun(I used the Witch Hunter) feels really satisfying and I like all the dialogue.

They just don't release much and make you run through the same shit a million times because random af low drop rate or crappy (on purpose) algorithms. When I did the reckoning you put in a mote for guaranteed gear at the end but it doesn't care if you've got it already. So I'd run that shit, which takes like a good 30 min including matchmaking and loading times and shit only to get say another helmet when I've got 3 already. Fuck that game honestly.

Fuck that game honestly.Having you run shit a billion times is kinda part of the genre and would be fine if they designed the game like this but they don't. All the PvE content in D2 is made to be cool the first couple times and then a giant pain in the ass as soon as you're passed that point. There's a reason why all these similar looter games tend to have a randomized mode or a horde mode etc.
Remember when everyone was excited about the infinite forest because they thought Bungie was finally learning? That shit was "okay" the first time/week and here we are like 4 seasons later and they still love trotting it out like it's fresh or exciting L O L
I played MMOs and there was still way more to do in between your whatever run of a heroic instance or raid. You can't just have that as the only thing to do. That's why folks get burned out and don't care anymore.
