Dedicated and experienced graphics software engineer with a passion for everything related to the rendering and algorithm fields. Special interest in both photo-realistic and real-time graphics, especially in the context of massively parallel GPU hardware architectures.
Currently working at Sony PlayStation (SIEA) with the Developer Technology Group, providing core rendering pipeline support to PlayStation developers.
Previously worked on special ray tracing dedicated hardware at Caustic Graphics (acquired by Imagination Technologies), bringing photo-realistic rendering towards real-time performance.
Has worked at Sony for 3 years now.

Ah ok, so Sony was already ready for ray tracing three years ago then. Will be interesting to see where this goes with Death Stranding. Next gen gun b gud.
Anyway, pour one out for God of War 1 and 2 on PS2 doing that graphics horse work with no hard drive and only 36MB of RAM and none of that sixaxis or light bar bullshit. Those were the days. Back when controller build quality could hold up for an entire gen.
By diehard Go To Postdude spent 4 years working on a product that didn't really go anywhere? that would be roughhappens a lot lol
Just got past the DQ 11 villain reveal. Long game, but pretty fun. Enjoying my time with it, especially since there isn't really anything that's missable so I can go through casually without a worry.
The best thing about next gen is that Sony is once again gonna be in a position to maintain its leading position without fighting any format war (Blu-Ray vs. HD-DVD) whatsoever. PS5 really is going to be PS2, and why PS4 really has been PSOne.
And with only one model at launch, they won’t have any other distractions either.
All they have to do is nail the price ($399), and just ride PSN subscriptions on the backs of those who absolutely must have multiplayer.
With backwards compatibility, their PSN sales are always going to be stocked too. Speaking of which, I need to buy more Sony stock.
Sony about to be batting 4 out of 5, bois.

Played some Fortnite with my nephew
Everything about it is bad except for the frequency of the updates. Legit astounding that it's as big as it is.

it's free, it got a social element to it, you can play on any console, it got a cartoony art style, and it got a memeable element in the dances and taunts. perfect kids stuff
it says a lot that something like pubg or h1z1 was so popular, for so long. people hungry af for battle royale, even absolute trash like that. so no surprise an actually functioning battle royale like fortnite did well, when also considering it was free.

like even kids that didnt play fortnite at my school, would stand and do fortnite dances when queuing up for something or whatever. it just spread, like prematurequiches asscheeks in copenhagen.

it's the only game my Mac can run lol
Been playing through it with a friend. It really is.
Playing Fire Emblem Awakening
Chapter 5 is tough, nearly ran out of battery at the end. Got three or so enemies left, will be seething if I lose someone from here. Ricken has been clutch against these Wyverns, got a few jammy evades as well.
The grinding battles are much higher level than my soldiers, so no idea when I'm going to get the chance to get Donnel levelled up. Bit annoying that extraneous attacks eat into your weapon durability.

Fortnite isn't a game, it's basically another social media platform. Like vine or ticktock. Nothing is ever going to compete with it, it's another minecraft.

my unrequited impressions of Nioh 2 in one post (based on three levels, one was Twilight)
It's feels more like Nioh 1.5 more than a sequel, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The combat is unchanged
I was worried they were gonna ape Sekiro or change too much and ruin a good thing, like they did with Ninja Gaiden 3, but they didn't. Also it's not open world thankfully, you still pick stages on a map.
The biggest gameplay change is the ability to summon two yokai to help you out. They drop from bosses (where you get to summon the boss's special ability) and regular mobs. It's really really fun and I can see people obsessing over collecting and leveling them up like your own personal pokemon lol
Turning into a Yokai is essentially the same as summoning a Spirit Animal, so it's a cosmetic change more than anything. I guess there was nothing else to focus their marketing on lol
Lots of QoL changes to the talent trees, but oddly enough going through your inventory is still bad.
The first Nioh shunned the demon bosses later on in the game (and in every single DLC) and replaced them with humanoid bosses based on historical figures....and while they weren't particularly bad to fight, it's still not what we play Nioh for. The Japanese mythology is rich enough to pull shit from, no one wants to fight fucking humans, at least not as often as demons.
you create your own character so no more bland Geralt.
I'm hyped.
