I still play Apex with the l3ds regularly, looking forward to S2. I expect them to blow the full load in an attempt to make up for the shitty S1.

Things I would do in the next 6 months:

- add tons of quality skins, reduce price to 10$/10€ max for legendary skins, 18-20€ is just insane
- reward players for leveling up; slow down the rate of rewards once you go over the max lvl of the current season, but don't just cold stop ffs
- revamp the current map first, then release a new one
- add new characters and tweak the old ones by adding new abilities and give people the option to choose their preferred 'loadout'
- add premium servers to combat cheaters, it's pretty much the only way

If most of the things above materialize, I can see myself playing for another 6 months no problem.

I played Apex a lot more than I ever did PUBG or Fortnite. I liked it, was enjoyable but I’ve had my fill. No interest in returning to it.

Good game though, loved the movement mechanics.

Hope we won't have to wait long for a Beta for Nioh 2. Couldn't get into Nioh 1 but, for whatever reason, the Alpha gameplay I've seen for 2 has me intrigued.

I'll never understand high level Diablo play. It literally looks like walking around only ever using one ability while passives do everything else or just walking around while passives/pets do everything for you.

I hated every character except aeris and red xiii. I also played the game around 2004 so there was no awe or wonder about the graphics. It also came on the heels of me beating the original Xenogears, so its faults were highlighted.

If I hate the characters, I can't even come close to finishing a game. If they are a non-entity to me, that's fine and doesn't get in the way of my enjoyment. But I couldn't stand the heroes and villains in FF VII. They all felt dumb and/or unlikable.

While I have never reached the highest level of gear in the game, yeah, it is mostly about stacking gear that augments a couple abilities to the point they are god-killers. I play on hardcore mode which usually forces you to add one passive (a revive) and one active (an escape) to your repertoire such that you can survive sudden deaths or death traps.

But the name of the game is trying to go through each area as fast as you can while killing elite packs and named bosses as quick as you can with as little time spent dying or running slow as you can. Greater rifts emphasize this aspect. They are areas that increase the damage, health, and mods of the enemies you face while enforcing a time limit for you to kill enough elite packs to spawn the boss of the rift.

But, yeah, you turbo charge a damaging skill or two and a movement skill and go to town. If you are trying to beat the most difficult greater rifts, there may be some support skills or gear added to your build in order to kill things faster by either debuffing or grouping them together.

Yikes. Yeah, playing XG then FF7 will fuck a lot of stuff...

It's true. Game is a reboot of the Modern Warfare series, not a follow-up to MW3.

Press and influencers played it this week. It sounds pretty freaking good from what I've heard. New engine and new takes on classic Call of Duty, more realistic. I'm hesitant to say more because they'll show it soon and I don't want to ruin anything, but Call of Duty fans should be excited about what's coming, specially those who feel the franchise has ran a little stagnant.

You can use nail polish on the components around the die to stop liquid metal from shorting anything out, but you need to be cautious with what metal the heatsink is made of. Aluminum is a no go, the LM will corrode it. Plus it could likely be a waste of time anyway, the gains between decent thermal paste and LM aren't huge with direct die cooling, and they're even slimmer with lower TDP hardware and small heatsinks.
