Got to end game in division 2--things have mostly been all good, but got to the final section of a stronghold yesterday on the second hardest difficulty and that shit was bullet soak city. We wiped 4x and I just bailed.
To be fair--I run a skill based support/debuff build. But the situation was such that I was like "time to work on a dps build." Can comment further once the raid drops. Should have a full dps build by then.
Considering playing some Monster hunter. Not sure if I should get on Ps4 or PC.

ps4 pro performance on the demo was actually the reason I never picked the full release up...shit was bad. Heard HDR was also fucked. Does the game play alright with mouse and keyboard?
I got my money's worth and over 60 hours. You'll never get back all those years of waiting on The Last Guardian
By LFMartins86 Go To Postwell played AHAHA what a fucking boss
Our sources confirmed they worked for $12 an hour while working contract at NetherRealm. For context, the minimum wage in Chicago is currently $12 an hour, but only after a minimum wage hike that took effect on July 2018. Multiple sources also told USG that NetherRealm would offer $11 per hour wages for the art team
Imagine being such a gamer that you'll take your college education and work for less than Sy

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postps4 pro performance on the demo was actually the reason I never picked the full release up…shit was bad. Heard HDR was also fucked. Does the game play alright with mouse and keyboard? It plays... different. You can tell it's not originally designed for PC. If you play ranged, you will want to change up some of the bindings to make it easier to shoot and scoot (primarily a bow weapon concern). If you are used to console controls for the series, it will probably take a couple days to a week to get used to it.
Menus are generally awkward, though. Also, not sure if they fixed some of the issues with trying to access some of your custom item shortcuts.
When I played heavily, I would go back and forth between kb+m and controller. Usually stuck with controller, but I typically played only melee classes (hunting horn, lance, and gun lance).

As detailed by many reports across the industry, the contractors were also expected to take part in crunch, a practice common in the games industry where employees work extra long overtime, sometimes for weeks on end.If they didn't get paid, the article would have mentioned it. This isn't Japan.
"I worked about 220-plus hours during a month last year, back-to-back-to-back weeks of overtime," said one source. "[Everyone] knew it'd come again for updates and DLC, it was almost endless."

Potency
You're big, you're tough and your muscles have muscles.
Fist of Caine gives you a punch even the big daddy of the vamps would be proud of. Knock down walls and throw people far. It's upgradeable, too.
Beat up the ground with Earthshock, creating a shockwave and knocking down anyone that gets too close. Upgrading it will send out fissures that damage everyone nearby.
Celerity
You're the speedster of the vampire world.
Unseen Storm lets you dash in any direction so quickly that, to anyone looking, you disappear, giving you the chance to make a quick attack, reposition yourself and dodge attacks. It helps if you want to run away, too, and it can be upgraded.
With Accelerate, the world slows down around you, letting pull off fancy stunts and even avoid bullets. You can enhance it with an upgrade, too. You'll be wanting to grab some shades and a leather coat, obviously.
By reilo Go To PostThat dude most definitely hangs around a leather bar in SF.
And why not he looks great in it.
By sy xxx Go To PostIf they didn't get paid, the article would have mentioned it. This isn't Japan. The tech industry is notorious for not paying overtime and the workers just accepting it. It's (very, very, very) slowly starting to change, but I would not trust an omission of being paid to actually mean being paid.
is there such an overabundance of talent for such highly skilled work that tech bros would prefer to just take it up the ass?
its weird to me, these guys are so specialized

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postis there such an overabundance of talent for such highly skilled work that tech bros would prefer to just take it up the ass?Promises of promotion, more responsibility, raises, etc. combined with still existing fear of the 2008 crash and the belief of having a hard time finding another job that pays as well (even if that belief is false). Also, a lot of these guys are dedicated to seeing a project succeed and don't want to be known as the person who caused it to fail.

I might try to get into MHW again but I think I need to start over, it's been so long.

Gaming industry is tiny. If you are labeled as not being able to cut muster at any of the big publishers, it will follow you to another studio because the big publishers own most of the industry as it is. This happens in Hollywood a lot. Imagine being blacklisted by a Disney owned movie studio because you refused to work crunch.
Why does anyone take it up the ass? People need money. Even just ignoring the obvious here about close knit industries, if you're living a very specific kind of life just missing one check means getting behind on mortgage, car payments, student loans etc. If you've got a family and a home that means much more conservative choices even if you hate your employment situation.
During a livestream dedicated to Borderlands 3's first-ever gameplay reveal, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford took the stage and told the audience that the upcoming game "won't have microtransactions."
"We're selling cosmetic items, but we're not going to nickel and dime players,"
