And bioware went from open, to pls understand, then Jason dropped those bombs, to defensive, to straight up mia or openly shook. They'd been doing good work til the priority went from the game to damage control. They're not gonna get out that hole any time soon either. Actually kind of admire the fact that they've made Deacon Saint Chauncey as much of a human enema as he looks.
The thing is, Deacon sucks. He doesn’t just suck because he moves around the world as if he’s just learning to walk and super frustrating to control around packs of zombies, he sucks because the game tries to present him as a morally complex anti-hero and it doesn’t land. It’s one thing to present players with a character they’re supposed to feel conflicted about, but what am I supposed to do with a person who says you “can’t shoot a woman unless you have to,” while later selling a woman he saved to a labor camp, knowing she’ll spend her whole life digging ditches for the tyrant running the place?

EA has allowed Dice to make a shit ton of content for Battlefront 2 for apparently no real monetary gain...so who knows. As annoying as getting the game up to speed is, I doubt the team has the heart to work on a new project atm that isn't Dragons Age.
