It's fine to me when it's a raid, sitting around shooting at symbols and letters? Practically brute forcing the shit for hours trying all kinds of combos? That's not content.

Dead Cells is so good
Upgraded enough now to speed through the starting area, the Promenade and the Ramparts, Toxic Sewers are still dangerous as fuck though with how easily you can get stuck in a corner. Whenever I get cursed I bottle it, might start clearing the level, then going back to see what's in those chests. Assassin's Daggers are great, Broadsword is fun but a bit shit. Looking forward to getting the Gardener's Key and whatever lets me smash through the red runes on the ground.
Discovering what happens when you try smashing a door you have to pay to get through was a harsh lesson learned. Are the timed doors any good for farming cells, or should they be left til later? I'm not good enough yet to beeline through the levels, need every scroll I can get my hands on. Currently going for the Health Flask III, shit's expensive but much needed. Fucking hate those enemies in the Slited Village who explode into aggressive maggots. Swear one of them spawned the maggots right on top of me even though I was miles away from him.
Literally the only issue I have with the controls is that you duck at a slight downwards tilt of the stick, would like the deadzone for that to be a bit bigger.

yes, i love it too.
sadly the switch version (handheld) has a few performance issues in the later stages that make it a bit less fluid to play than the beginning. not too bad but i'd wish they could iron it out.
edit: they are still working on a patch so i'm waiting for that to hit.

I really enjoyed playing through the WIi U version in 2 player co-op with my wife. It absolutely nails that classic platforming gameplay but without doing anything particularly different or memorable.

Finished Iconoclasts on Switch last night. Fun game with some quirky design decisions. Kinda reminded me of a Treasure game. Definitely worth $10.
