damn, so i've been doing testing and training models for deepfake on a 3090.
Its taking days just to train a model for 1 million iterations.
my 3090 aint cutting it. might need to upgrade to a 4090.
im reading on reddit its 2x - 2.5x faster output on a 4090.
E:
probably going to upgrade to 2x 4090s as well sometime in the spring.

Is this something you plan on doing often or just playing with it? It might make sense to rent server time for your models than spending 4k if this is just a curiosity.
The only problem is how to get a 4090 for msrp these days.
Just out of curiosity the past few days I've checked amazon, newegg, bestbuy, etc... and the shortage is indeed real.

Still need to put it through it's paces in a real fps, but I love this new mouse, so far. I moved the sensor further to the front and it has helped keep my aim steady if I accidentally rotate the mouse.
It’s disappointing that there’s no 4090 Ti or Super. Even if they have no competition at the top, it’s still fun to see the envelope pushed.
