Yeah, that's probably fine unless you have a GPU capable of running path-tracing games (and are playing some now or real soon). Those will tax CPUs a lot more than current titles.

Indeed, though I imagine they'll get it working with the poor man's RT soon enough. Seems quite a bit buggy in its current state from the videos I've seen, so maybe it's for the better.

EDIT: Just fucked around with 2.0 for 20mins after a very necessary Nvidia driver update and damn, image is clean and stable as fuck. I'm sure I'll eventually notice some anomalies, but so far ... sensational. The shimmering bug appears to be gone, which was my one real gripe with PT.

EDIT2: There's some minor ghosting / streaking going on with distant NPCs and when you're moving really fast with vehicles, but nothing major.

nvidia spends all this money on A.I. and we still don't have dark mode in the drivers control panel smh

Frame pacing seems borked. They also don't really seem to have implemented anything like Reflex to deal with input latency. VRR also doesn't work.
