By Daz Go To PostI been using a 16" for nearly 8 years now and can't go 13".new macbooks being revealed next week i think
This is going to hurt.

Been following them for a good while. Too many compromises and goes against everything I want to achieve with my next build (sff, mobility).
Love to see it tho.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostWhat's the point in a wired mouse in 2021?wired is better, no need to worry about charging. also the mouse is right there on your desk so it's even more pointless to go wireless.
Why do I recognise the exact models of those unbranded heatsink by that picture alone. SFFsense never fails me
By unknown Go To Postwired is better, no need to worry about charging. also the mouse is right there on your desk so it's even more pointless to go wireless.Hmm I disagree. I get woodens answer about weight or shape.
But connecting the charging cable to the wireless mouse just turns it into a wired mouse for that time It's charging, then it goes back to wireless.
And I don't think a mouse being right there close to the computer makes any difference, a wire can be inconvenient in the smallest way that wireless wouldn't be.
Just use a charging dock for your mouse. Like £20 for a Logitech mouse. Come included with some Razer mice.
I feel like I've asked this before. Are there any reputable PC builders that sell / ship across Europe?
I might seriously have to pull a Cavallo and get a prebuilt to secure a 3080 at a not-scalping price when Alder Lake hits.

I think Scan do, OCUK definitely do however they’re generally not gonna give you a bargain.
Caseking.de, PCComponentes.com, Komplett.se ... Not seeing good deals at the moment, but I'll check when the time comes.
Komplett.se will give you that expensive Swedish VAT too so stay away from them, a German shop is probably your best bet.
I'm sure pcie 4.0 riser cables are significantly harder to make than 3.0, but these prices are still highly suspect. 70-100€? Gtfo.

By HonestVapes Go To Post3080Ti and 3090 FE’s on Scan and I said no. Changed man.
Selling while I can for the high price lol
3090 sold. It’s been a pleasure. I love how in my work group we all nerd out about the same things. Bought the Strix 3090 in for my coworker to take a look at and there were lots of “holy shits” and picture taking lol
Going to miss it. Piece of art. But I also like having $2,000 when it was sitting in a box since June🤷🏽♂️
Small profit from what I paid for it

By HonestVapes Go To PostGoing GPUless until the next set of cards come out/prices normalise?
I have my spare 1060. For all intents and purposes I guess I might as well be GPU less. I have this Fully desk that I need to put together, but I…just don’t feel like it.
I like my living room setup with the 77” and sound system. Series X gets me 90% there of my PC setup with VRR, 120fps, and superior HDR support.
🤔🤔🤔
I'm a changed man too.
Thinking about getting a gaming laptop this year. My old one is crapping out.
780m can't cut it nowadays.

Someone report this thread to the fbi
They’re actually….good nowadays
By Smokey Go To PostThey actually….good nowadaysI apologise I don't keep up with a lot of this stuff and get my opinion/information from Zabo and Vapo
Nah they are perfectly fine in 2021 and aren’t the hulking offensive desktop replacements they used to be
I’ve had poor experiences recently and don’t see any real change in the design trends to rectify those issues.
Sure, performance is good and better than ever for laptops. Noise levels and propriety shitware on the device that’s required to be their by the manufacturer seemingly will never change though.

You mean from sleep mode? I had that, where it was some USB device that woke it up. Not completely from a cold boot though
From completely turned off… strange
I just turned off fast-startup within windows so hopefully that makes a difference,

By Celcius Go To PostAnyone ever have an issue where the PC turns on by itself?I have had that before, last time was a few weeks ago
It kinda just...fixed itself after doing it consistently for some days
Coolermaster are on some good shit lately. Hope they release a stand-alone version this without the PSU/AIO.
I want to love the NR200P, but I just can't bring myself to. Something's bugging me about the design, idk. Too chonky perhaps, ugly feet.
I've cooled off the Jonsplus i100 Pro for the same reasons. Friendship ended, Meshlicious is my only friend now.
I'd probably change my mind, if I saw it in person. Solid set of features for sure.

What software do you guys use for managing your RGB? Anything better than Asus Armory Crate? It seems to install a ton of processes/apps so I'd like to use something more lightweight, though I usually just use it to set my mobo RGB and then uninstall it.

It’s all vendor specific which is part of the problem.
