Hmm, I was interested in buying COD Black Ops Cold War but today I found out that if you buy an RTX 3080 or 3090 then you get it for free (I've already been trying to get my hands on a 3090 for ages). However, the chances of getting my hands on the new card at this point are pretty much slim to none... especially going into the holiday season. If I buy the game now knowing I plan to buy a 3090 later it feels like a waste of money though. What to do...

Yeah I played Control and it looks amazing. Still got the last DLC to start so will get to that soon. Metro Exodus also looks really good, although the performance hit seems huge. Apparently the Two Colonels DLC has some nice implementation, but I don’t have that.
Those game deal usually only lasts a month or two right? May very well be a new game bundled with the cards, if you dont expect it until January.

I wouldn't be caught dead buying a SSD that's not even good enough for the PS5.
It's a really solid SSD for general use by all accounts, go for it, if you need more space. Sits comfortably between your Crucial P1s on the lower and Samsung 980 Pros on the higher end of the NVMe spectrum. Could've used more DRAM and a bigger SLC cache, but unless you're planning on doing very extensive writes, it doesn't really matter.
It's a really solid SSD for general use by all accounts, go for it, if you need more space. Sits comfortably between your Crucial P1s on the lower and Samsung 980 Pros on the higher end of the NVMe spectrum. Could've used more DRAM and a bigger SLC cache, but unless you're planning on doing very extensive writes, it doesn't really matter.

Cheers. I just want a bit more highspeed space because at the moment I'm limited to two Samsung 840 EVO drives (1tb + 250gb) but then everything else gets shifted to a 4TB HDD or Google Drive.
I don't think that's better than a regular PCIe 3.0, but the price is right at least. for 4.0 we are still waiting on the new controllers, aren't we?

Seems Sliger are making two NCase style cases, one of them with support for a Noctua D15 and huge GPUs
They've got an updated SV590 coming soon too. A vertical layout case like the NZXT H1, just larger with some really impressive watercooling support. IIRC, 360mm radiator officially supported, but it will fit specific 420mm radiators too.
