Thanks! I think he referenced that you can't find those cpu's for cheap anymore in a more recent video due to people jumping on them. Lol
This G502 is nailing it on comfort. Don’t like the mouse feet on it at all though. They’ll be getting replaced soon.

I've been running the same install for almost 4 years now. Still as fast as on day 1 (or at least that's how it feels).

In that case, yeah, Windows does have some annoyances. I suggested to use WSL and Debian before taking the time and/or money to create a full-on dual-boot system.

Depending on what he's doing, making greater use of something like Docker may also be helpful.

By Smokey Go To PostJust *fits* in your hand. Its great. The software is terrible though. I never had any issues with the old Logitech software, but this G Hub shit is fucked. Can't change my DPI settings, it just displays a blank screen.
Pls do not speak ill of G Hub. If it sees me bad mouthing it it may stop working for me again in retaliation.
Not sure if this is new, but I just noticed the pricing on the Asus 3070 cards at OCUK.
OC £650
Strix £600
Dual OC £530
Dual £470
Makes me wonder if Nvidia are doing the two different dies again, A and non-A like with the 20 series.
Also makes me wonder why anybody would buy a “premium” 3070 for the same price as a standard 3080.

This is pretty cool. Would consider them for an rgb build for sure.
Even cooler, for reviewers at least.
By Zabojnik Go To Postthis is fucking great. amazing it took this long for somebody to come out with an elegant cabling solution. this is actually one of the reasons i've been putting off a new case for so long. i do not feel like going through the hassle of recabling everything.

I've been dreaming of the day modular computers arrive since I was a kid, and we can cast aside all those legacy connectors, pins, slots... and cables finally die. Just a main board where everything slots in via hard connections. Like that modular Razer prototype ages ago, but you know, real and good.
I still wanna see performance comparisons with those Lian Li fans. The fam blades appear visibly smaller than other 120mm fans.
Clipping together with cables only on a single fan is great though. As is the PWM pass through for motherboard control. That should mean they’re compatible with Argus/Aqua Suite.

I might grab those fans for my future build even though it would result in me using 3x240 rads instead of 3x280 since those fans only come in 120mm flavor.
@Smokey are you still using the stock mouse feet on the G502, and if so, how are you still using the stock feet?
Feels awful on the pad in comparison to the PTFE feet I have on the O-. Just ordered a set from Corepad to replace them.
Thus far, the shape is great, really enjoying it. Zero pain in my fingers using it today for 5~ hours.
Feet and software are awful. It also rattles a bit, seems to be the buttons and scroll wheel causing that though.
Tried switching to the on-board memory in lieu of software control but it seems to just default the mouse so my button and DPI configurations go out the window.
Never had that happen with the old software with the G305 or the G533 headset.

i don't have any problem with the feet. I never even thought of them until you brought it up here, actually. The ghub software is buggy, but i have my kb, mouse, powerplay, and speakers running through it. no major issues. i've never seen what you're describing about the dpi configs missing happen either.
but yeah in general lgs > ghub . even after all these years.

I’ve read that the DPI issue is related to locking the options after setting them, which sure enough is something I did I’ve not been able to get back into the DPI menu since.
At least I set it to 800/1600DPI only before it “broke” and I don’t need to guess which setting I’m on out of 6

Especially not if you are using it on a device that utilizes touch. In my opinion it is, Windows 10 has a terrible and inconsistent UI as well as poor backward compatibility with older games. I don't care about touch, I use an OS for desktop. What other OS's? Mac is ok at best and linux is a joke.
By Red Blaster Go To Postamazon has msi 30 series for pre-orderI’d really wait for teardowns on different card models personally. Too many AIBs have been cutting corners lately, hard to put blind faith in any of them for a solid overall product.
ventus came out to 802 trumps after tax
If I was gonna day one, of any model, it’d be an FE. Purely because you kinda know what you’re in for with that. It might not cool as adequately or quietly as an AIB model, but it should at least be competently put together.

from a dev perspective I absolutely love windows 10, it's the first time I feel like I don't need a mac. The design is strong, but there's still a lot of legacy UI stuff which understandably annoys people
I've fucked loved the glorious model o (especially the mini), so going to give this a try for sure

7. Do they come lubricated from the factory?
No, they will come from the factory unlubed. Many users prefer to use their own lube without having to wipe off existing factory lubrication. Its a fairly simple process to lube the switches before use.
For those who need it, we'll be selling our own premium brand of lubricant called "G-Lube" as well. More info about G-Lube will be posted at a later date.
