He uses the smaller one exclusively for Apex. I was doing the same thing for Siege, but my mounting methods were a lot more cumbersome than his. Gave up and gave my 240hz to my girlfriend to use with her laptop.
Looks like the kind of slide Nvidia would do.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's accurate though. RT cores are new, who knows how much they were holding back on the 20 series implementation to make the performance increase with the 30 series more worthwhile. It's well within the realms of possibility.

Yeah I use a 240hz for Csgo as well, and I really really should get a mount for that, so I could just pull it down over my ultrawide. But at the moment I basically have two setups on my huge desk. Csgo got its dedicated screen, mouse and keyboard.
This morning I opened all my browser tabs getting ready for the launch, then my power went out. It came back on 10 minutes later, but I hope it doesn't cost me a chance at the new cards @_@

e: a UPS did save my Remnant: From the Ashes save file from being corrupted during a power outage while my gf was not so lucky because she did not have one, yet :(
By Adam Go To PostDidn't know Kib did Remnant too, it's a fun lil game I'm plowing through nowIt was totally worth the $0 I paid for it on the EGS.

By Nonja Go To PostThis is just expensive save scumming kib. I respect it.I justified it because I work from home and losing work in any form or fashion is one of the worst things. I also have one for most of the components of my home theater just to protect them from most electrical damage.
I recently bought a third to keep our modem, router, and my home server (which also runs a bunch of networking stuff for us) online at all times. It will get even more use once that Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini gets released and I can save up enough money to both build a media server with my current Silverstone FT02 case and move my current PC into that O11D Mini and upgrade it to watercooling. Going to put that media server in the same room as the other server I have running.
That other server I am talking about is just a NUC that I put in a completely fanless case from Akasa: http://www.akasa.com.tw/index.php?lang=en. Specifically, the Plato X7D.
