By Kidjr Go To PostI keep under estimating how badly some people really want BrexitPeople want things because they've been convinced of a zero sum game where they're competing with people on their level or even worse off. I'd talk more shit but we're doing the same thing on this side of the pond. Letting completely myopic rich people cannibalize the country and parts of it just accept their scapegoating of peoples who have shit all to do with joblessness, shitty infrastructure, shitty healthcare, etc.
Ya they’re basically saying if you want a trade deal you get an Irish backstop either way fuckos. Brilliant.
Hey Fender, what do you think, would you say the lacking proof of collusion actually exonerates Putin more than Trump, because it means that he didn’t actually Trump us as much as they got Yeltsin’d over there?
It means that I don’t have to hate/blame him for Trump anymore, right?
It means that I don’t have to hate/blame him for Trump anymore, right?
The 'lacking proof' of collusion is only due to the limits set by the US regarding the Mueller investigation. If you believe there's none when several people from Trump's election campaign has already been arrested than you are falling for GOP's trap.
i mean... it shouldn't surprise anyone that a bunch of people who generally don't operate in politics or upfront in them do dumb shit that most politicians would keep low key

You’ve seen the evidence for or against? Collision occurred. Conspiracy beyond a reasonable doubt maybe not. Obstruction most definitely but he got his boy Barr in who wrote memos about the president not obstructing justice a years ago.
In his memo, Barr added that Trump asking then-FBI Director James Comey to let go of the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn and later firing Comey was within his powers as head of the executive branch.

When the GOP universally screams exonoration based on a 4 page analysis, but try’s to block the full report from coming out, you know there was some shut in there.
I’m any case, Putin’s been winning since the beginning and Trumps legal issues lie with SDNY. I mean Flynn still isn’t scentenced yet, and neither was Gates because he’s still cooperating. Sooooo many aspects of the investigation are still ongoing. Ignore the noise
I just don't see Trump taking any instructions or advice from anyone but his own self. This dude is ultra narcissistic.

By Flutter Go To PostWhat a shit headline. The actual article highlights that the policies to blame were implemented in the late 19th century, and a single paragraph at the end says an author of a book suggested Churchill contributed by importing too much rice from India.
The study of social history has become a new hobby of mine. I am still terribly new to it, so please bear with me.
Would it be fair to say that the Rape of Belgium was a proper retribution for the Congo Free State, or is it still too soon to say?

When you get into retribution you'll almost never find anything "proper". Definitely the wrong lens dude

There's seemingly a trend to promote the arch-gammon Churchill as some great example of British honour and heroism.

how did that not just end with a perimeter of cops around the car taking defensive positions and using the loud mic to order him out?

Not quite sure where this goes but Saudi Arabia is wilding:
The issues Bezos raised in his Medium post have nothing whatsoever to do with Michael Sanchez, any more than revealing the name of a low-level Watergate burglar sheds light on the architects of the Watergate cover-up. Bezos was not expressing concerns about the Enquirer’s original story; he was focused on what he called “extortion and blackmail.”
Next, Bezos directed me to “spend whatever is needed” to learn who may have been complicit in the scheme, and why they did it.
That investigation is now complete. As has been reported elsewhere, my results have been turned over to federal officials. Since it is now out of my hands, I intend today’s writing to be my last public statement on the matter. Further, to respect officials pursuing this case, I won’t disclose details from our investigation. I am, however, comfortable confirming one key fact:
Our investigators and several experts concluded with high confidence that the Saudis had access to Bezos’ phone, and gained private information. As of today, it is unclear to what degree, if any, AMI was aware of the details.
Experts with whom we consulted confirmed New York Times reports on the Saudi capability to “collect vast amounts of previously inaccessible data from smartphones in the air without leaving a trace—including phone calls, texts, emails”—and confirmed that hacking was a key part of the Saudis’ “extensive surveillance efforts that ultimately led to the killing of [Washington Post] journalist Jamal Khashoggi.”
Saudi Arabia attacks people in many ways, obviously, including through their elaborate social media program that uses sophisticated technology and paid surrogates to create artificially trending hashtags. To give you an idea of how this program has infected the U.S., the New York Times reported that the Saudis even had an operative inside Twitter, which fired the suspect employee, and later advised select activists and others that “your Twitter account is one of a small group of accounts that may have been targeted by state-sponsored actors.”https://www.thedailybeast.com/jeff-bezos-investigation-finds-the-saudis-obtained-his-private-information

LELAND, N.C. — A federal court ruled that a K-8 public charter school’s uniform policy violates the Constitution by requiring female students to wear skirts to school and prohibiting them from wearing pants or shorts. The American Civil Liberties Union, the ACLU of North Carolina, and the law firm of Ellis & Winters LLP filed the challenge on behalf of three Brunswick County students.Link
