Shit night. Labours Brexit position of getting Kier Starmer to negotiate a new Brexit deal that he himself will campaign against in a referendum was always going to be rejected by leave voters. Corbyn is hated by a lot of the working class and keeping the same cabinet as the last election with people like Diane Abbott as potential Home Secretary was always going to lose votes.
The only upside is that the Tories are now talking up a softer brexit. A hard brexit would mean that they could struggle to keep NI and Scotland in the union and they don't want to lose all these Northern seats they have just won by decimating manufacturing and farming.
