Centrist democrats want the world to be like The West Wing, where compromise matters more than doing the right thing. In what any other line of work do you have a side actively wanting a draw, it's like watching Man U under LVG or Mou. I'm honeslty surprised at how long they've held off Trump this time around with the shutdown, the gains in the house really shifted the momentum.
Read Tulsi's wiki and she plays the political game well. Completely reversed her position on abortion, LBGT rights.

We're talking about a useless wall instead of making it illegal to hire LBGT or watching his state run media take shape again.
By DY_nasty Go To PostNo you wouldn't1 years of Pence in dem majority house with almost no chance to win in 2020? sign me up

By blackace Go To Post1 years of Pence in dem majority house with almost no chance to win in 2020? sign me upTrump throws paper towels at victims of natural disasters. Pence would make sure the protections of sexual assault victims went back into the trash and bar immigrants for renting property without explicit government approval.
Yes, this is an embarrassment and the standards couldn't be lower - but the alternative here was always worse. Pence is good enough to be able to manipulate this fractured, desperate Democratic group into believing that socially liberal/fiscally conservative is an actual platform as well.
I don't want Trump to die just because it would change the presidency of the US. I want him to die because I fundamentally, to my very fucking core, believe he deserves to in an unpleasant way.
Shocking everyone:
Itâs Official: The Trump Tax Cuts Didnât Pay for Themselves in Year One
Itâs Official: The Trump Tax Cuts Didnât Pay for Themselves in Year One
Data released this week by the budget office provides the first complete picture of federal revenues for the 2018 calendar year, when the tax cuts were in full effect. (The governmentâs 2018 fiscal year included three months from the end of 2017, when most of the tax cuts were not in effect.)
In the inaugural year of the tax cuts â with economic growth accelerating and the jobless rate falling to an 18-year low â federal revenues from corporate, payroll and personal income taxes actually fell.
In the summer of 2017, for example, the budget office projected that the economy would grow by 2 percent in the 2018 fiscal year, and that personal, corporate and payroll taxes would add up to $3.24 trillion. Then the tax cuts passed, growth accelerated and, for the 2018 fiscal year, tax revenues fell $183 billion â or 5.6 percent â short of that projection.https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/11/business/trump-tax-cuts-revenue.html
Republicans, particularly in the Trump administration, sold the tax law on claims that it would pay for itself â even when economists outside the administration, like the congressional Joint Committee on Taxation, released models contradicting them. As corporate tax receipts fell significantly last year, some Republicans began to insist that, in fact, the bill was paying for itself, because total tax revenues were very slightly up.
The 2018 figures contradict that argument, too.
The uncomfortable truth for the billâs supporters is that the tax cuts are substantially contributing to a widening federal budget deficit, which now appears on track to top $1 trillion this year. If growth fades in the coming years â as many economists believe it will â the cuts could exacerbate the deficit even more.
I finally got banned from Era about pointing out how Kamala is bad for black people and anytime people try to gin up support for her among black people it goes left quick, and the white people and the âI donât see the need to visit a black barberâ coalition got me out the paint.
From what I've gathered in my rare browsing of that other board, it doesn't take much deviation from the group-think to get banned. I couldn't post there, and I'm fucking liberal as hell.
The literally name-called me then banned me for responding to it with a much better comeback. Thatâs white people in a nutshell. They are still wondering why the government is shut down lmaoooooo

Itâs not. Someone called me a dick when I explained why black folks arenât going to back Kamala and even provided hella evidence and reasons as to why and the corny suburban niggas and the white swirlers got mad and I said to this one dude that called me a dick his attitude and inability to listen to black people is why she left him.
Is DY serious with Tulsi? I've been reading about her since yesterday and she seems more like a democrat conservative that made a quick 180 during 2012. Hell, she seems more like a republican that is only a democrat because it's the only way to win over Hawaiian voters.
Now yeah, she claims she has converted to 'social liberalism' in the past few years but it's more like she's saying things liberals would like to get their support.

Sheâs still anti-gay and anti-Palestinian. Sheâs in the same trash tier as Kamala.

this is america. everyone's anti-palesitne by default

It's not only the LBGT stuff DY, Tulsi seems closer to republican figures than democrats, the Hindu nationalist links, and of course her past family history.

im of the opinion that you should actually talk to ppl you don't like, crazy right? (and i completely understand the people who feel otherwise, but disagree with them all the same)
also to kinda point out something that gets glossed over when it comes to foreign policy - timing and context
there was a very clear point in time where there was still a chance to intervene in syria before shit hit the fan. then it was gone. not a lot of politicians caught on to that and continued to chirp. some did. and there's also context in that. there was HUGE hypocrisy leading up to the 'boots on ground' talking chain as well... fact of the matter was she and a few others understood very clearly that *if* you were going to syria for assad, you had to do so with overwhelming and decisive force, and that our support (like always) would come after the fact. but most importantly, once the russians entrenched themselves, the window would be shut for good. half assing it before or after would have us in some shit
and now we're in some shit and we can't leave fast enough (but isis?! boko haram was hot in the media streets around that time so whatever). also some of that stuff is just plain ignorant.... egypt is an ally in the middle east that was going through all kinds of shit - but you still play lip service when you don't want to. "egyptians torture!" they've always done it and they've been a crucial ally there as well. some of this is strong naivete and other points are shallow purity testing that if seasoned evenly around every candidate then you'd have no one. especially when it comes to being vocal about foreign policy. not every ally is going to be canada. obama had to play nice with duterte. shit sucks.
even the india stuff that dude is linking is knee jerk. she's indian american lol. when they were throwing rape parties in the streets she was one of the few people actually going over there and making it a point that modi had to address (and now he's getting worked despite rigging every election he can)
so these quick googles from message board ppl are one thing but big mad columnists doing it... i want this energy for everyone lol
and its a long, long ways from what you were trying to describe. call it a fuck up - it is. duh. but its not at all what you started with....
