By diehard Go To Post Hood still looks like he will be a nice player.
Weird stomach issues though. Kept throwing up before games last season.
Stat on TV:
Portland 3PTM this season: 775 (franchise record)
Portland 3PTM in 1979-80 (first year of the 3PT line): 28
The San Diego Clippers lead the league with 177 3PTM in 1979-80. Stephen Curry has made 268 threes this season.
Jermey Lin will have an MRI done on his left knee, same knee that he had a surgery on before.
Really sucks considering he's playing for a contract right now.

Noticed this too. They don't ever look like they're having fun. Coach doesn't even like em. Dragic wanted out quuuuuick.

Never trust a twin in a team sport. Still can't believe Suns actually brought the Morris twins together.
isiash tomas 4 am the six man of year............ and he is the best 60 pick of all time? this midget was the last drafted guy.......... what a fuck steal............. it4> rondo huaua for me it4 is a all star player........ dongo am cry.... uahahaa
chicago neeed to win miami....... fuck fertigo........... lebron need to rest against us......... fuck..............
So... Quietly... The magic have put together a nice young core.
Vucevic is average 19.6 & 11.1 (on .529 shooting).
Elfrid Payton has improved just about every month April he's averaging 12.8 & 9.3 (on .429 shooting). Not bad for a rookie.
Oladipo now that he doesn't have to handle the ball seems to be settling in at SG, 17.7ppg, 4.2apg and 4.2rpg for the season (on .439). As Paytons play time went up so did Oladipos scoring
Payton is 21, Oladipo 22 and Vucevic 24.
And Tobias Harris (22) stat line reads well, 17ppg, 6.2rpg. Thats ok for a SF. (.460fg%, .365 3pt%)
They really need someone to make the jump, and i don't know if their coach is terrible or not. But they seem to be building nicely down there. And they will potentially have a top5 pick this year?

Denver's bench lol
Play offs I'll be in this thread alot more.
I'm unsure whether parker is 100% as yet but fuck me the spurs have hit form at the right time.
I actually think the western play offs will be more exciting than the finals, I cant see anyone in the east being a threat over 7 games.
Nene has been resting since March and we're about to play the Bulls in a series where Butler averaged like 11ppg against us this year.

At this point, I'm convinced that the reason KG took 22 footers instead of threes was entirely Flip.
By giririsss Go To PostSo... Quietly... The magic have put together a nice young core.
They've really done a nice job re-tooling after the Dwightmare. They won the Dwight trade pretty conclusively (I guess it isn't hard to when the other teams lose so fucking hard) and they've drafted well too.
Eastern Conference have be a Boston-Philly-Orlando-Milwaukee future?

Flip stuck in that 1979-80 mindset.
That isn't to say that Wiggins should take a bunch of threes if he isn't proficient, but he should definitely try to get as good as possible and make it a reliable part of his game.
We're going to do gods work and give Brooklyn the L and the Pacers the W that they absolutely deserve
Hawks catching that 1-8 elimination
Well the Magic should have the 5th or 6th pick at least, and considering their draft record I'm optimistic they'll get a frontcourt contributor.
I'm mainly just rooting for the East to get better as soon as possible. The state of things is depressing.
Hopefully Silver pushes a true 1-16 seeding format through.

Saunders literally still runs the same offense he did in the 90s. There was a quote from Garnett's first practice back about how he still knew all the plays. It's a real problem.
But they can still end up pretty good in spite of his coaching. Going forward, he really needs to step aside from coaching, though. Even Sam Mitchell would be better. At least in the games Sam coached this year, he let them shoot 3s and didn't play LaVine at point guard.

I really want to see what happens if this Pacers team gets in the playoffs.

There's a decent chance the East playoffs will be more competitive than the West.
The champ will still probably be the Dubs or Spurs though.

lol at MCW
ugh at Trey
This is my surprised face that Dion made the list.
Trey being that good from the corner three and mid range gives you hope that he can just take good shots and be decent at basketball.
Waiters shot chart is like...its made for him to be easy to guard. Push him off the three point line and you've won...the mid range shot or him getting at the rim is his least efficient shots, its crazy
By Dark PhaZe Go To Post I like the Pacers much more against CLE than ATL. Its unfortunate that we won't see that matchup.
They're one game back of the 7 seed. Why not?
By Dark PhaZe Go To Post actually waiters is more like just...doesnt even matter what you do, its probably going to not go in lol
Thankfully you can tell he's made a concerted effort to get to the lane more, but his lift, finishing, and ability to draw fouls when he gets there is still terrible.
He isn't even good on defense, he just has that reputation because he's a try-hard on that end.
I don't even want to read the article. Everything about this image is already perfect just as it is.

Yawn.
Keep beating that drum. This team is not losing before the ECF as long as Millsap is healthy.
When Stephen Curry takes a shot, we can reliably expect for the ball to go in and the chaos to never arrive — which is why I love Josh Smith. Just more than 70 percent of the time he releases a 3-point shot, a future rebound gets its wings. The split second after a Smith jumper departs his left hand is like young love: emotional, fleeting, and magical.
If you’re looking for Waiters Island on a map, it’s right in the heart of Pacific Proving Grounds, where the U.S. tested nuclear weapons from 1946 to 1962. Nobody is allowed to go there anymore, as the islands are too contaminated — just like the blue archipelago along the perimeter of Waiters’s shot chart.

The Goldsberry article took me down the "best rim finishing guards in the league" path and the results might surprise you. At least 400 attempts.
But Goldsberry said 50% finishing around the Rim for a guard is horrible!
Oh wait, he's an asshat with no basketball knowledge and forgot the very basic step of adjusting for position before comparing to the rest of the league.
"The color's blue right? That must mean bad"
Alsi, If James Harden cared about finishing at the rim instead of flopping, he'd be higher. But flopping on easily finishable shots is his forte and although he doesn't get penalized for a missed shot, he loses the opportunity of a make pushing up his fg%
By rodeoclown Go To Post I knew Andrew Wiggins was good, he has excellent body control and finishes through contact really well, but he's such a stud.
"If he perfects his 22-foot jumper he'll be unstoppable!"
