That was a bullshit series tho. Good thing Bobo (sorta) woke the fuck up, the team's looking hungry now.
Who's gon take a shot for every Westbrook airball?

By fertygo Go To Post Bogut should win DPoY because my god he so dominant on that end
GS defense so bad without him in the line up

Don't the stats already disprove this?

Complete opposite. GS' defense without Bogut plummets. They're not even the same team.
By obijkenobi Go To Post Real talk question. If Kawhi had played at mostly this level the whole season and didn't have his injuries, where would he be in the MVP conversation? 4 or 5?
He coulda won it, imo. Dude is so fucking good on both ends.

Someone posted that the defense is at least on par and possibly better with Draymond at the 5.
Here or on GAF of course.

that sounds ridiculous

Spurs would have had around 60 wins again so right behind Curry and Harden.

I love Kawhi and I want him to win an MVP, but he will already lose votes based on minutes played and stats in comparison to other candidates. You can argue that it's because he's making those numbers with such limited minutes but voters aren't gonna see it that way.
This ain't back when Tim Duncan earned MVP and did so because of his usage and numbers. As good as Kawhi is, he still needs to work on consistency.
As for Bogut, they may not be the same team but they are far from being garbage defensively. They lack size but Thompson, Barnes, Draymond, Iguodala are all quality defenders and they can hold their ground. Especially since they play the mismatch with so many guys between 6'7" to 6'9" being able to guard multiple positions. The lack of size in the paint is their biggest flaw defensively and is made up for by the mismatch.

I'd rather him not play like this all season. Save all that energy for when it matters. Even AI has an NBA MVP but no rings. Kawhi has the MVP award that matters.
Warriors fans are Spurs fans for the rest of the season. We want San Antonio in that #2 spot. Badly. I ain't stupid. The Spurs are the scariest team going into the playoffs. Easily.
Warriors will need to get playoff ready before they face the Spurs.

with his defense, he would be my MVP.

this sounds silly, 2nd round sure..

What? Not even. Klay is having a huge slump right now but don't let it fool you. Ezeli ain't Bogut, but he'd be all that's needed against the Pelicans. Houston or the Clippers...yeah, Bogut is important. Then again...last season.
