why am i watching this kings - lakers game?
Might be Boogie's last game on the Kings roster.
Sorry.
Washington DC vs. Toronto should be a giant series in ratings just going off city income and population, but nope, kicked off to the lesser channels.
That's kind of interesting.
By creepingfear Go To Post Welp "Dan Bernstein @dan_bernstein 2m2 minutes agoHearing Noah's issue is indeed his bad knee. Told it's bone-on-bone, unlikely to improve markedly, long-term concern. Not good. #Bulls"
My condolences.
By Vahagn Go To Post The Rockets with that clutch "we gonna give ourselves the very best chance possible to actually win a series" Wednesday night win.
Should I go back and quote where you said you don't see us winning any playoff series unless it was a hobbled OKC Thunder?
brad stevens is coach of year......... isiash tomas six man of yer.... smartacus in defense team of year.....
clippers warriors west finals................ atlanta celtics east............................. celtics vs clippers finas doc rivers am cry..........
By Zero Tolerance Go To Post So Pop wanted to dodge Dallas in the first round...interesting. Also, LOL @ all those exclusively Eastern Conference teams on NBATV and the random ESPN2
I highly doubt they wanted the 6 seed and lilely no HCA in any round. This loss doomed them, IMO. I still have them beating Clippers and then Rockets, but they ain't winning 3 in a row on the road.
really, their early season malaise fucked them over. We kept saying the Spurs were taking too long to get going. They didn't get going on the rodeo trip and it cost em in the end.
I see that Zoran balled out. Looked like his bro finishing at the rim. If the dragic bros stay I'd love for him to get more pt. He might be good, who knows!
Fuck Erik spoelstra

How do you search posts here? I'm pretty sure I said you wouldn't ne favored against anyone else. Not that you had no chance in winning. You can absolutely beat Dallas, and considering you were facing SA without HCA just like two days ago, my post about being clutch tonight to win a playoff series still stands.
That being said, I still think you're losing in 6. Fuck Morey.

No clue. And honestly, what's the difference?
Dallas in 6 would be realistic if Dallas had good wing defenders. Harden should light up Dallas backcourt all series long(free throws included).
Dallas still has Dirk, Amare as a spark plug, and Aminu has been scary good in the season series at least. It will be a competitive series, but no reason/excuse for us to lose.

Basically, if Harden goes off. You can win. If he doesn't. You won't. Assuming Rondo's locked in, he can do a decent job of defending Harden enough to chase him off the 3 point line. The main thing is, I think Chandler is about as good of a defender on Dwight and a rim protector on Harden's drives that you could ask for, and Carlisle will outcoach the shit out of McHale.
Add to that that I think Carlisle's offense is legit, and MoreyBall is gimmicky trash. I think Dallas takes it. But it will have to be in 6, I don't see them winning game 7 on the road or winning any earlier.
And you having a functioning Dwight and Jones is scary too.
By RBK Go To PostI don't even think you honestly believe that.
It's difficult for me to overstate just how little respect I have for your team. I'm sorry man, I don't hate Houston. TMac, Yao, and the Dream were all amazing. But this current iteration? Nah, not so much.
But yea, that's my official series prediction. I'm not trolling. Dallas wins in 6.

An oral history of Shaq, Penny, and the Orlando Magic’s lost NBA dynasty.
They were destined for greatness. Back in the mid-1990s, you couldn’t imagine a more promising basketball pairing than the Orlando Magic’s Shaquille O’Neal and Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway. O’Neal was powerful and agile, plus swift and skillful in a way that hadn’t been seen in a 7-footer since Wilt Chamberlain (and hasn’t been seen since O’Neal retired). Hardaway was seen as the rightful heir to Magic Johnson — a tall, transcendent point guard who would headline the new generation of NBA superstars. If you wanted to build an ideal basketball team, you would start with a center and a point guard. If you wanted to build the perfect team, you would start with O’Neal and Hardaway.
Shaq was never adamant about going to L.A. or any big market. He went to LSU, so it wasn’t like he was saying, “I need to go to some big market.” Our strategy wasn’t to force anybody to go anywhere. Maybe if he was picked by Minnesota he might have said, “I don’t want to go there.”
Scott Skiles' coaching career summed up in a single paragraph:
They tried it for one year with Scott Skiles and Penny. You couldn’t have both. Penny was hardheaded back then. I mean, when Penny was fresh out of college, you couldn’t tell him nothing. Skiles was tough as nails and the last thing he wanted to deal with was a rookie trying to take his position. Yeah, it would have been nice, but it wasn’t going to last.
And Shaq being Shaq:
Shaq was an alpha male and he wanted to be the man. He was the most dominant center in the game at that time. So his ego was it’s about me. I think the perception out there was Penny and Shaq’s relationship was a lot like Kobe and Shaq’s relationship.
By rodeoclown Go To Post I legitimately felt bad for Nick Anderson reading about his free throw misses in the Finals. Dude is so haunted by it 20 years later.
rewatched it the the other day. One of the greatest chokes of all time.
