We're adding Ante Tomic next year who is already an super skilled center who can't defend his shadow and Tomic is a lot better and more ready than Frank. And Frank is so meh.

naw, mudiay got paid and didn't have to worry about getting suckered into some crazy campus bs like dozens of other guys do
I am "confident" in all of them being solid players at worse. Mudiay's size and actually being able to run P&Rs will allow him to at least be a solid PG in this league (Holiday tier even). Russell's ability to shoot will keep him in the league for years. Towns' blend of size and agility will make him a damn good starting big and Okafor's post moves are still really really good.
However picking in the top 5 means you need them to be waaay more than solid. You need all stars. Even if Embiid (or Noel), Randle, Wiggins are great players, missing on this pick or even just adding okay dudes could fuck you over down the line....The Cavs for example probably would have never lost Bron if they didn't constantly fuck up the picks after him.
That being said, I think this draft could be sneaky great because for the first time in a while I like or at least can lie to myself about pretty much all of the top 10 and I like a few guys throughout the draft too.

I don't know arguably Russell's game isn't based on athleticism right noe. People online compare him to Ginobli and Brandon Roy and I agree after watching him myself. His passing ability. outside shot and his janky (but effective) drives that get him foul calls is what is going to give him an edge as a rookie then you got to hope NBA conditioning will allow him to build upon that.
Also there is no guarantee Mudiay goes top 4. At this point I say he is top 10 lock. But in a draft with so many quality bigs and add in the guys who killed it in March madness and I could see teams passing on him for other players.
