are you excite knux
i want to be. I not getting excite yet. Last year I was all in on Wiggins and shit...then the Cavs jumped in and said nah bitch.
The Lakers and Hinkie can do that this year.
By reilo Go To PostTrash owner came in to only make a quick dollar. Not only that, he screwed the franchise for years with "win now" moves.
I remember being excited that a dude like Prokhorov was joining the league. Guess he didn't realize you can't spend your way to a title like you can in soccer.
Lopez bros continue to nerd/dork out and will be on some Disney XD show.
Brothers Robin and Brook Lopez will team up with Disney stars Cameron Boyce and Jacob Bertrand in hosting the three-day special episodes "NBA Slam Funk!" from June 1 to June 3, which will be a "prank themed" feature that coincide with Disney's "Lab Rats," "Kirby Buckets," and "Mighty Med".

Kupchak said anywhere from four to eight players could be in consideration for the No. 2 pick. Keeping options open and broad right now.

Can't say the Russians don't deserve it, but it's not a basketball issue.

After his comments on Cowherd the other morning .... lol.
We're getting a big.
I think Lakers are afraid to draft a shooting guard just to minimize the chances of Kobe doing something to him in the shower.

they just built that stadium though and beyond just upping the property value for the surrounding area its a major part of the push to make Brooklyn the number 2 Burrough in NYC..... it would be a fiasco if the Nyets left now.
The Nets are still like the 3rd most valuable team and that's almost entirely due to their location; if you think they'll move you're dreaming.
Prok is going to sell though.... Probably in the 16/17 season when Deron is leaving. They could probably absorb a shit load of contracts for picks and right the ship by the 18/19 season

He'll sell the Nets to pay his western debts.

Give Jay credit he used the Nyets to position his sports agency and its doing well. I am not even sure he still owns shares in the Nyets.
Hov owned about 2 more shares in the nets than any of us did. breh whored his name and borough out for that.

OD.... I tell people that and they look at me funny. That stadium has been a major inroad of gentrification on Flatbush (where I live) and nobody says shit cause the stadium is like the go to place to to pregame in brooklyn.

I am not even sure he still owns shares in the Nyets.he sold them since roc nation got into managing players and you cant do that if you have a stake in any teams since it's a conflict of interest. so yeah if he's out of the management business (which he wont) then he could look for ownership

Milsap wants a max brehs......
Hawks want to match it though
I wonder will they put that Nyets draft pick on the market if a team is willing to absorb those contracts.
Milsap wants a max brehs......
Though Millsap is reportedly very fond of his situation in Atlanta, the All-Star will have plenty of suitors on the open market. With gobs of cap space around the league and the reality that a max deal signed in 2015 will look like a lot less once the salary-cap number explodes in 2016, Millsap is expected to command the max – or close to it – which for 2015 projects to be somewhere between $18 million and $19 million for a player with eight years of service.
Hawks want to match it though
The likely scenario is that if the Hawks want to keep both Millsap and Carroll, they'll need to clear a bit more cap space to do it. That means moving some existing contracts, with candidates being Mike Scott and Shelvin Mack. Doing so would generate another $5.8 million in space, which could be enough to secure a Year 3.
I wonder will they put that Nyets draft pick on the market if a team is willing to absorb those contracts.
Rumblings from Alex Kennedy that Cameron Payne has been promised by a lottery team. Could definitely be us.

because I just want to get BPA--drafting for need with a late 1st is dumb

idk you guys were a injury away from the conference finals, capped out, and your already hoping porter can replace early butler and later pierce production...... You should draft for need and give it another go before 2016 when a lot of the contracts come off the books.
we'd be better off just telling Hump to shoot threes all summer than placing our hope in a rook give us meaningful playoff minutes though
and when we get KD, he'll be playing the 4 I think

What are you hearing from GMs about Kelly Oubre Jr.? Really liked how he measured out at the combine. Also pro comp would be cool too.
Chad Ford (1:39 PM)
He's a five tool player. Has athleticism, length, can shoot it, can make plays, can defend. Enormous potential. But the question is – will he get it. Will he work hard? Will he play the way he needs to play? The physical tools and raw skills are all there. I think Charlotte looks at him hard. Ditto for Indiana. The good news is the it appears he's been working really hard the past six weeks. I saw definite progress. Drew Hanlen, his trainer, did wonders for Andrew Wiggins and Zach LaVine. Could be a steal.
By Moris Go To PostWeird that they'd go for another PG when their wings are pretty weak.I could see us making a separate deal for wing help, or bringing in someone via the MLE. There are some intriguing wing players available in that MLE salary range. Besides, it's very unlikely that a rookie will help us much immediately.
I also think Lamb and Waiters will be given a chance under Donovan, even if maybe they shouldn't.
Besides, the number of minutes available in the backcourt is lower than you'd think. YNB will (obviously) play a ton, then you find minutes for Morrow, Roberson, and Augustin.
By Jared Dudley“Most guys don’t want to play with Kobe. He gets in this thing where he doesn’t pass and then overpasses and then trying to get triple doubles every night, so we know you have it…
“That’s why I think it will be a while for the Lakers to get good because they’ve got no stars. I would be surprised if (Kevin) Love goes there.”
Also said that Melo is the most overrated player in the league, Zbo is the most underrated and Harden has improved on defense, but is still a bad defender.

His jumpshot is pretty, though.
If you're drafting Booker knowing he's only playing backup minutes, I think that's fine. He'd fit in like Atlanta or Indiana.

I just think OKC is better off reaching for a SG/SF who could either start at the 2 or be the 6th man (a la Harden). If the PG is 'too good' you end up in another Reggie Jackson situation.
Basically the PG has to fall in a very small window where they can help off the bench, but aren't good enough to start or have aspirations as a starter. A wing on the other hand could blossom into a starting quality player and still not need to be moved to another team.
