Kristaps is 7'1 and change without shoes or 7'3 in the NBA. Gotta find that pic from the draft where he's looking down at Towns.
By blackace Go To PostWilliams is going to start in NY. Already said that over a month ago.Doubt it, either our young guards develop and afflalo plays the 3 or Melo will. We really should have gotten a 3 in free agency.
Melo is going to play the 4, both he and Jackson said as much. The whole point of getting Lopez was for Melo to play the 4.
Phil and Mark both said that Rolo gives the Knicks the flexibility to play Melo at the 4 not that he was going to start or even get most of his minutes there (they were really taking shit about Monroe of you watched the presser). He might start at the 4, hell that's what I want but unless Galloway Grant and Early prove to be starters/rotation players right away I don't think we have the roster composition for that to be attactive to Phil's Knicks. Williams can play water boy for all I care, fuck him.
They're gonna have problems scoring reguardless of how they spread out the talent. But hey, system basketball or whatever.

Ignore Gaby. He doesn't realize you can keep growing past the age of 18. LOL.
He is indeed 7'1.5 without shoes. 7'3 with them.
Listening to the Knicks Media Day interviews are priceless. This one is for db!
2nd unit is looking like
Galloway
Early
O'Quinn
Seraphin
Porzingis
Amundson
Thomas
Antetokounmpo
Sasha (training camp body)
By blackace Go To PostAffalo starting means the 2nd unit basically can't score.Afflalo came here to start and be the 2nd option, that was never in doubt.

Jackson..goood. Also lol Rolo is so humble, breh you can admit LMA's numbers went up while you were on the floor because you're a boxing out machine.
By KingGondo Go To PostGeorge Hill going for that Sisqo look.
That's the I been in Indiana to damn long hair cut

By blackace Go To Postyeah because the one thing a black man wants to do in Indiana is stand out…
Its more like he's been in Indiana so long he's loss touch with modern fashion and style aka "gone country". The same reason I don't see D Wills blonde Dreadlocks making it through the season in NY.... then again Hill is from out there isn't he?
Also the confirmation that Wesley Matthews is out until December makes any gripe I (or anyone else) have with the knicks roster seem tiny.
By AlphaSnacks Go To PostIgnore Gaby. He doesn't realize you can keep growing past the age of 18. LOL.
Judging from your tone, I'm guessing your dick didn't keep growing past the age of 6
xoxo
I'm surprised we made it so far into the offseason thread without an earlier mention of baby dicks....
Speaking of dicks I need to start some movement to inspire the players to wear the shorty shorts again.

Yet here you are, sounding like the 6 year old with a dick joke because you are absolutely wrong about a player's height yet you insist you're not. LMAO.

LOL. "Phil Jackson goood thing". RoLo is a goof.
And yeah, he was totally humble about LMA and his increased numbers.

My favorite Clyde from his loser days story is
During the 92 Dream Team run Clyde Drexler was a part of the team along with Jordan. Drexler's Blazers had just lost to Jordan's Bulls earlier that summer in the NBA finals. In addition Jordan had completely cemented his position as best SG in history, a title that many had thought would be Drexler's just a few years earlier. Anyway, that summer Drexler brings two left shoes to practice on accident. He is so fearful of what Jordan will say to/about him that he wears the two left shoes for the entire practice. Jordan is said to have heard about this years later. He laughed
Our, SL&ENT's, presence is still not as strong as it could be:

idk, maybe I'm not making much sense.

I don't mind Slaent growing slowly and certain people getting used to this forum's atmosphere versus the toxic stuff that is back there. Some threads/communities slip a bit but there's enough people who don't want to replicate the same exact shit here which is nice.
By PSYCH! Go To Postso clifford said Batum is the first or second scoring option….option being the key word.
I'm seeing 60 win baseline tbh
I'm pretty sure he'll opt to be the fourth.
Fuck Verizon. Piece of shit. I wish I had the money to stay with au or even try Softbank in America. Fucking despise the situation I have with Verizon and I'm wondering if other carriers are this shitty.
Ordered 2 iPhone 6S+ through carrier instead of Apple for first time...
Straight up lying to me even after guaranteeing me my phone and now telling me that it's not good till October.

Softbank is cheap now in the states friend of just moved there and said it's not much more
So, it's been making the news here, I'm pretty sure it's not too discussed in the US, so I'll tell you guys.
Le Monde (France's equivalent to the New York Times) has published a piece on 35 year old Pau Gasol and his unprecedented level of play during the Eurobasket: 26 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2+ blocks in 30 minutes. Those are Sabonis-like numbers.
The journalist wondered, what did Gasol change in his preparation?
Well, he started working with Nicolas Terrados, a Spanish doctor who was involved in a number of doping scandals in cycling: he worked for the team Festina when the first scandal broke out in the late 90s, and then he was the medical director for ONCE, a team which also was found guilty of doping under Terrados' direction.
Gasol and the minister of sports of Spain are furious. They are suing Le Monde. Charges of defamation, they want 1M+€, etc. The article only stated the facts.

Sounds like the article relies on implying things without proof of those things. so it's not that responsible of an article.
By etiolation Go To PostSounds like the article relies on implying things without proof of those things. so it's not that responsible of an article.
Well, of course it's an invitation to make assumptions, but that's the nature of news sometimes. Muckraking in its heyday was a lot of that, and then the truth comes out later. When it comes to doping in cycling, it took years of reports such as these, almost two decades, to get some facts out...
Gasol started working with a top-notch dirty doctor. That's news worthy. That's a fact.
Yeah it's the fine line between facts and libel. Technically they're correct but it's obvious they want the reader to connect the dots with that framing.
There's a slight difference between Upton Sinclair writing The Jungle and accusing a guy of doing steroids with no real evidence.
Well it sounds like they didn't even have to accuse just say "welp this dude was working with this hella sketchy mofo over here."
I mean... It's entirely possible that he isn't juicing. I don't really care if he is to extend his career and play as well as possible. The league is better with a productive Pau in it.
But if you don't want questions about PEDs to arise, don't work with a doctor who's notorious for doping scandals.
But if you don't want questions about PEDs to arise, don't work with a doctor who's notorious for doping scandals.
Honestly when it comes to doping half the time I don't even know my opinion of it because technically a bunch of players are doping pretty consistently when injured in order to speed up recovery.
Say, tomorrow, Donald Trump employs Dinesh D'Souza, who was guilty of organizing illegal political contributions, and puts him in change of fundraising, you don't think that's newsworthy and that wouldn't influence your opinion? Come on guys.
