By Dark PhaZe Go To Postwhat is ball streams?Have you ever imagined a world where League Pass doesn't suck? Where an HD stream is actually in high definition? Where your geographical location doesn't block you from watching a team's games?
Ballstreams.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postwhat is ball streams?
Cheaper version of LeaguePass with no black-outs or restrictions.
I've said before, I'd gladly pay more than what BallStreams costs for an NBA licensed service that's as good as BallStreams....but here we are.

you can pay $60 for 6 months at the start of the season and you'll be covered through to the NBA Finals.
1 year option is basically just peace of mind that you'll for sure catch pre-season, summerleague and draft day stuff.

I got a fair amount of use of the subscription freeze ability last year, too. It's really cool to be able to like go on vacation and not pay for days I'm not using the service.

Its ok. The good thing is they're actually improving so maybe in 5 years 2K will have some competition.
The fact that it's fun is a massive improvement and I really like the instant replay

What are the key differences in feel vs. 2k?
By seph Go To PostWhat are the key differences in feel vs. 2k?it feels nothing like 2k. more arcadey, animations are pretty stiff. some terrible post animations too, it just feels like a solid base.
2K has thousands of animations which you are mostly in control of and can trigger, There's not much you can do/trigger yet with live.
but it's fun and I'm interested in seeing where they go from here.
Arcadey isn't a bad thing. They'd be smart to go more in that vein to at least differentiate. 2k is not accessible to new people at all. I'll give it a download.
Jun-chan's son please succeed as Prime Minister after Abe.

also defense seems random and 3s seem to be a bit automatic (then again KD)
By reilo Go To PostBlackace, pls translate pls.Japan hasn't had a Prime Minister strong enough to keep his position for long since Junichiro Koizumi. It's been a series of evanescent schmucks ever since. You may know Koizumi as the protagonist of The Legend of Koizumi, an actually awesome manga about world leaders settling international disputes via mahjong.
Shun clearly misses the glory days of mahjong diplomacy and now wants Koizumi's son to replace Abe.

Koizumi was the douche bag prime minister who started Japan down the path of re militarization while at the same time doing everything in his power to piss off his neighbors
Abe was his hand picked successor and is even more gung ho about removing article 9 while doing what he can to piss off the rest of Asia.
ABEnomics is killing the yen tho
btw my mixtape is named after that ACEnomics
I'm an independent and I would support a more left wing views but at this moment the LDP has such a hard stranglehold on seats in kokkai that I better off supporting someone within the party who is a little bit more anti-nuclear and progressive than the rest of the LDP. Koizumi Jr. is more open than his father who's denial of war crimes and military approach bother me a bit. Shinjiro is young and is a bit more in touch with his anti-nuclear stance and compared to the other alternatives who's revisionist and overt nationalism scare me. His voting for Ishiba raised some flags but not being part of Nihon Kaigi or openly supporting it is a plus so far.
I don't see the other parties forming coalition and unseating LDP unless Abe really drops the ball during whatever is left of his ruined term and career.
As a whole LDP is far from ideal but I'd rather have Koizumi Jr. out of the popular, viable choices.
For representatives I'm satisfied with the job Funahashi and Yoshikawa doing in 1-2 district. Takahashi is alright as an independent.
RIP Machimura.

He doesn't flat out deny Japan's war crimes he just deflects them by saying stuff like "historians should discuss these topics not politicians." and his visits to the shrine further back up his stance on the issues of Japan's darker past...

Besides I doubt Japan elects a PM under 40.. Abe was the youngest PM in like 3 decades when he first got the seat in 2006 and he was 52 then.. stranger things have happened..
By diehard Go To PostMaybe the most esoteric conversation ive ever seen here
I might bet more people know about Abe than who the backuo PG is for the Jazz
It's one way to retain support and keep from party fragmentation, with how insular politics can be and with the low voter turnout. Voter turnout sucks compared to what it could be.
I applaud the representatives that choose alternatives to Yasu but vocal opposition, like with Fukuda, it doesn't doesn't help when it fragments the party support and leads to gridlock and party conflict. You won't get lasting term of support from your party to get anything productive done.
It's not like a actively like and fully support him, he's a lesser of evils in the LDP. I would want someone younger and he would eventually be primed after Abe steps down or if Tanigaki steps up, after him.

He will be like 36 or 37 when Abe steps down....
What I am trying to say is that he is a viable option amongst the older and more conservative members. Once Abe steps down and a stopgap is elected, he would be in his early to mid 40s ready to start seriously campaigning.
I want a younger person and I don't see anyone who closes the same popularity or support. Him being elected in is more likely than say Noda or Koike, Thatcher-esque candidates whose likelihood of widespread support is limited by the glass ceiling that is the LDP and mainstream voting. A shift from older male candidates is needed.

JFK... and well that ended well for him..

The youngest PM ever was Ito at 44 and Fumimaro Konoe was 45 in 1937 followed Abe at 52... I wouldn't mind seeing a younger leader but since the diet is still just full of old thinkers and Koizumi hasn't shown me he is anything but his father's son.. took his father's seat in Yokosuka and doesn't stray from his father's thinking... A lot of his anti-nuclear stuff came out of Koizumi Jun's mouth as well..

But i really hope they win 50 games, i'll basically be a Bobcats fan this season.
I've already come out as a backer of the way Charlotte built their team. I think they're in the playoffs, 7 or 8 spot with the Bucks.

The worst part about these months is that Basketball hasn't started and the NFL drowns out the MLB as far as news goes.
