Weren't most of your bannings from trolling Nintendo?
By lovingsteam Go To PostThankfully Ace never banned me ;)tha'ts because you're a suck up.
BTW, Barkley also said dems haven't done anything for the black voting demographic and that he likes Trump. While the dems haven't been saints (tough on crime bullshit), they're not actively trying to restrict voting rights and fuck over the ACA among other social saftey nets. What's even more stupid is that Since 1980 we've had 16 years of Dem presidency and 20 Years of republican presidency. So the GOP has had plenty of opportunity to show they're the better choice.
I've never been banned over there. Something something about never having an avatar and keeping a low profile.
Dude you should get ROS and play D3 again. I'll PL you to 70 in 15 minutes and you can leech gear for another hour and be caught up.

lol I was being sarcastic. Ace did ban me once or twice I believe. But yea, most of my bans came from Nintendo threads. Including the one that did me in. And Kado, suck it.
Chuck said neither side does anything for blacks. He just votes for who he likes on a personal level. He's basically a "have a beer with" voter, which isn't surprising.
PLEASE NBA SEASON PLEASE
PLEASE NBA SEASON PLEASE
BTW, have we discussed the Lakers signing a 32 year old rookie pointguard? Man, the Buss's just need to sell this team already. Never thought I'd say it but this ship would be better ran by a pair of drugged out monkies from North Korea than the current leadership. It's quite embarrassing. It reeks of desperation. Reminds me of what happened once the Dodgers were sold to Fox from the Omalley's. More than a decade of suckage.
By etiolation Go To PostPLEASE NBA SEASON PLEASEI watched two Serbia games in Eurobasket and I mostly just had that same thought. Like, this is okay, but I'd really like to see Bjelica playing with better players.

You have problem with a 1 year rookie minimum deal of a PG who played for a top tier Spanish team?
I mean, it's not like he got cut by a Lebanon team like the guy Doc River signed.

By lovingsteam Go To PostBTW, have we discussed the Lakers signing a 32 year old rookie pointguard?Sabonis came when he was 31 IIRC, Prigioni 34, can't remember for Jasikevicius but at least 29, etc. Huertas will be serviceable. Long career for him now...
Also, get used to it. The new cap will increase this kind of move. NBA revenue going up and european revenue stagnating means that NBA benches will be more and more European. I don't remember an article making that observation, but it should be discussed, it's going to accentuate the phenomenon. 20 years ago, Hernangomez drafted late had no career in the US that would be better than what Europe could offer him (think Milos Vujanic)... Now it's obvious he'll come over. Bodiroga would have never said no to the NBA, had an NBA team offered him 5-6 millions, which is very easy today... I give it 2 years before Teodosic comes trying his luck in the US...
By diehard Go To PostGoing to a bad team that needs to develop at 32 isn't helping anyone. You don't develop a good culture with just kids. It's a locker-room move.

only one of these players made a real impact in the NBA and he was a real superstar in Europe
By blackace Go To Postonly one of these players made a real impact in the NBA and he was a real superstar in Europe
I don't know what a "real" impact is or where you're going with that. Huertas is certainly not Sabonis, nor is he Jasikevicius. No one is saying otherwise. I'm saying it's not the first time European rookies come late. You need these pieces. Doesn't make it a bad signing.
By Gabyskra Go To PostYou don't develop a good culture with just kids. It's a locker-room move.adding a rookie is a locker-room move?
By diehard Go To Postadding a rookie is a locker-room move?A 32 year old with international experience, of course. Knicks fans can tell you what Prigioni brought, for a decent comparison, some solid minutes and the right mindset. The Lakers fuck up, but how is such a deal anything but a plus? How does it detract anything?

It's just you can't really be excited for a 9th or 10th man when you were horrible last year and your biggest offseason moves were Hibbert and Lou
You mean like when we played Richard Jefferson and detracted from the development of players that might actually have a future?
I got banned the first time for arguing with Forever because it got to the point I started cursing him out in Spanish after he said something about my mother. I did not know him for the troll that he can be at the time.
Second time in the "Kim Kardashian broke the internet" thread I got banned for this joke meme
like 2 days after I posted it because the thread turned into a "stop objectifying women" debate. I was told not to jerk off "in" GAF

He was not Barcelona's best PG. But complain about going for Hibbert/Williams, not Huertas... Budget and project wise, at worse it's inconsequential, at best it's a fun signing for a team that is too young.
Developping players is not just giving them minutes, it's also about giving them the right teammates. If you're building a team, what's best, yet another scorer-type 22 yo who will be out of the league in 2 years (literally half their roster), or bringing in someone who knows what it is to be competitive?
I like the signing -shrug-
LA only really had 1 PG in Russell and he may not stick as a 1 guard going forward.

both are likely to be out the league in 2 to 3 years lol
By blackace Go To Postboth are likely to be out the league in 2 to 3 years lol
Of course, and what kind of team culture do you build in the meanwhile? This ain't a farm, an NBA team is an institution. I'm sure we all know what is it to build a group long-term, if you play for a club, if you're part of a political group or association, at work, etc. Kinda surprised people don't see the point of bringing people with different experiences, and a different approach to the game, for little potential loss.
There's about 20 players in Europe that have their place in the NBA, at different levels of course... With the new cap, these guys will be coming in, old or young. A team who navigates the change in the economic landscape will be benefitting quite a bit (the same way the Spurs did it, keeping an open mind...). Like for the Knicks, to me the fact that they are legit interested in Porzingis and Hernangomez is the right direction. They drafted Weis and Vujanic with no intention to get them really, it was such an unprofessional franchise...
Welp Melo is looking healthy

Melo posted on his FB regarding the stupid "trade" rumor:
"I should throw the ball at you clowns!!!! I hear the whispers!!!!"
Also, Melo has always been a fit guy who can stay in shape and or get back into shape quickly during summer prepping for the season. He's got pretty damn good conditioning. Good to see him playing in full.
And was that Fisher on the court with them? Hahaha.

I know, lol. There's a reason Melo stopped being caught in topless photos 7 years ago...
He definitely could have taken bodybuilding more seriously. The reason he's so vocal about it this year on his social media is because he did not so much before...
He has a strong core that he uses down low, but he always has extra weight... Kinda makes you wonder how quick his pull-up could be if...
Melo's conditioning being meh has a been a career constant. The guy is naturally built like a truck. Pierce isn't an underwear model either but his conditioning program is gdlk.
I mean at their height, weight, size, and length wouldn't they have a lower centre of gravity and be decent post defenders against bigger 4s and 5s?
Like having a lower centre of gravity lets them hold their ground and post up on bigmen as defenders.
Draymond is around their size and makes a killing off that. Pierce isn't that bad of a defender either. Does Melo just not give a fuck?

There is a divine irony in Curry being my favorite player in the league right now.
I used to be a Wade fanboy hardcore back when I was coming out of high school. Curry shit on one my mentors in college too.
