I can't tell if Mo is old and busted or if he's really a guy that needs his minutes THOROUGHLY managed. I've never seen a guy so gassed at the end of last season. Dude could barely hold his chin up while hoisting contested 3s for us in March.

Never forget his Twitter post from the first go around:
This Rose thing makes me queasy. On one hand, false rape accusations are rare, and logic says I shouldn't dismiss the claim out of hand, but then again, the filings do have some weird details that make me pause.

Poor guy. Gigantism is pretty rough. He's got a walking cane, fucked up joints and hands and will likely die young.
By knux-future Go To PostNot gonna lie, that gif made me want Marshall to succeed for fuckery reasons alone.
Is he really succeeding if he's getting fined and suspended for shit behaviour? He gonna be Whiteside-esque production.
SamuraiX, elotation, whomever Sac fans here do you even have room to sign the dude? Is your team gonna hit 49 wins like the Hornets?
Anyway DY_Nasty and Knicks fans are you guys all serious about winning 45-49 wins for the season in the East? You do realise that that win/loss ratio is 3-5th seed in the East. Like you're projecting that the Hornets and the Knicks hit 3-5th seed when you still have the Hawks, Cavs, Bulls, Bucks, Wiz on the radar and other teams too. If you count 41 wins like Frankman, you're barely hitting the 7th seed and 8th seed threshold.
The Raptors could barely hit 49 wins last season and they basically disappeared latter half. Come on.

By Shun Go To PostIs he really succeeding if he's getting fined and suspended for shit behaviour? He gonna be Whiteside-esque production.Anyone who payed attention ie A LOT OF YAL didn't even notice that the Hornets season was dead in November, hopeless in January, and that the team completely gave up before the end of February. And it wasn't because of one thing but a multi-directional trainwreck. Those kinds of seasons seem to only be noted when its a huge market team or perennial playoff threat - but they happen to 2-4 teams every single year in some form or another.

At the same time, you've got teams that massively overperformed given the cards that they were dealt. The Raptors weren't even slightly cohesive as a team past February. They did almost nothing right. And its not because 1 or 2 guys was simply out of it for a while, they happily played like shit and rolled into playoffs because it was tank season. Randy Wittman was coaching for his job and barely kept it - now that Pierce isn't there to do his job for him anymore, he'll return right back to scust-tier and the same glaring holes in the Wiz will reappear.
I'm nothing like Knicks fans, #notallknicksfans, who think that bringing in an entirely new roster into a freshly tanked and dysfunctional situation will instantly vault their team 30+ wins. I also believe that Carmelo's decline began the season before last and that it was easily masked because the team as a whole turned to shit behind him making it less apparent.
I'm saying that 46-50 wins makes sense for the Hornets because even in a complete trainwreck of a year where almost the entire team took a stepback in some form or another, we still managed a top 10 defense. Most of the defensive decline was due to injuries and a thin frontcourt to start the season. Guys are healthy and the frontcourt won't depend on Jason Maxiel and Marvin Williams being significant role players. The defense would simply improve with healthy guys - but we actually got better defenders at every position too.
The biggest issue from last season with the Hornets was the fact that they couldn't score. We'd lose games where we held teams under 90 pts which is absurd in the modern NBA. They couldn't score because there was zero spacing at all times. We added shooting at every position. More space to work means that guys dependent on that will improve their efficiency to match. More ballhandlers too mean that Kemba won't be the sole perimeter target and top 5 in the NBA in touches for a 3rd straight year. The offense doesn't, nor will it be, the best in the NBA or even the division. It will however be more than enough to regularly take advantage of our greatest asset - our defense.
So I'm not talking out of my ass. It makes sense. If people wanted to argue otherwise, cool. But they usually don't and go "lol horncats" and I'm like... aite.
The east as whole has improved too. I'd like Miami to be a top 4 team if they weren't thin at every position. Whiteside and Bosh is a combo set to destroy a lot of interior defenses - all Wade would need to do is show up every once in a while.
By knux-future Go To PostBest Future in the East of the young rebuilding squads, go.Orlando is who I'd like to say but I hate Oladipo for some reason. Bucks got next, eventually. Depends on Jabari though.
Its not us
I also want to like Oladipo but he does come off as a try hard...I am also salty that Orlando has been unscathed from quietly tanking alongside us with more talent but have no push back (not even say we don't deserve it..we do)...but Vaughn was an awful ass coach and Skiles will give them that first season push..which could be a bad thing as I don't think they have a star on their roster (Maybe Mario if he doesn't shank a dude by the end of the year).
I want to believe in the Bucks as I like many of their pieces but ...they have like one shooter (Middleton), a so so one in Parker...then Giannis and MCW who's shit is broken as fuck. I've seen what tryng to just outlong every team does, means little when you are getting zoned all game.
They are probably the best choice tho

I mean, the Bucks have a ton of young talent so someone there kinda HAS to be special.

Orlando is just so weird to me. I can't see Mario and Skiles gelling at all and their interior is still extra suss despite vucciman.
I don't put either above organizations on the comeup like Detroit and Indy though. I trust those teams more than Milwaukee and Orlando.
By PSY! Go To PostBut what happens when MKG breaks his hand going too hard again in December?Honestly that's the only loophole I have in the bet with Faze. We each named two players from our teams that can't be allowed to miss more than an agreed upon time. MKG was one of mine.
Everyone talks about Al and Kemba, but our record without MKG is fucking unreal.
