By giririsss Go To PostGuy hasn't done shit in the NBA, and is replaceable quite easily.not for the amount of money he's getting now.
By giririsssHe averaged 11ppg. In a season no one gave a fuck about him or his team. And he struggled to out play Biyombo , in fact, Biyombo had a better stat line.22 minutes for Whiteside, 12 points 8 rebounds with us actively ignoring his ass.
I'm all for talking shit. Even enjoy Hassan's insanity. But lets not start believing something just because someone says it often enough. Guy hasn't done shit in the NBA, and is replaceable quite easily.
41 minutes, 12 points,12 rebounds for Biz.
Giri pls
"Is replacebale quite easily"
Will bet you right now Whiteside will fetch a max contract in 2016.

It was biyombo / hornets in that game. Not SAS or something.
If y'all max him i'm going to enjoy my time making fun of the Rondo of Centers.
Don't think that I'm saying Whiteside is great. I just agree with his point. The reason the league became smallball is because for a period of time, a lot of the young talent was at the wing, and then at the guard position. Recently there's been a shift to the young talent being big men. As those big men start to become the best in the league, guarding them with 6'6 guys will not likely work.

There's a lot more to small ball than playing a 6'6" guy at the 5. The Suns went small with Amare at the 5, and he's 6'11. Miami did it with Bosh and he's 6'11. SAS with Duncan etc.
By PSY! Go To PostBut what about your team giriTyson Chandler and Alex Len? I'd take both over Whiteside.

The league doesn't exactly lack quality big men that play defense and score a little. Wtf is this shit.
Sure, it's not an era of Kareem, Hakeem, Shaq, Ewing, and David Robinson, but it's not lacking quality bigs at all. The game has just changed to be more guard heavy because how good the current crop of point-guards are.

I just went back until 2010-2011 and the closest thing I could find relating to the Spurs playing "small ball" (too generic a term) was 123 minutes of Blair and Bonner. Probably when McDyess couldn't suit up too. That's it.
And taking Alex Len over Whiteside is straight homerism. The Suns would do that deal in a second.

They don't liek to get pigeon holed with one type of play style though. They like to run big lineups and small lineups in the same game, making the other team chase them.

Giri being Giri I see.
Alex Len is hot trash. Whiteside is one of the better offensive centers but he's too much of a knucklehead to be relied on

I just checked, because I went too fast the first time. With Leonard, you're mentioning the 15th most used 5man rotation (out of 20 combinations). And it's the only one.

Probably happened on a handful of occasions against a small ball team and not another time. Not their initiative.
No sight of Diaw as the lone big either.
So no, SA is not an example of a small ball playing team since more than 95% of the time they have 2 real bigs. And that's a constant under Pop.
Also, how did we end up discussing the value of one single instance of a Biyombo - Hassan matchup, when the season is 82 games? Talk about a silly sample.
I don't even think we really gave a team effort past January anyways. That's also the game where Marvin Williams only took one 3pt FGA in 40+ minutes as our 'spacing' guy.

Derrick Rose is being sued by a woman who claims the NBA Superstar and two of his friends drugged and gang raped her.will wait for more info, right now sounds sketch as fuck
The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, says she and Rose dated from 2011 to 2013. During that time, Rose allegedly tried to pressure her to masturbate in front of him, allow him to have sex with her friends and engage in group sex with strangers, all of which she says she refused.
Rose's accuser says the two continued to date until August 2013, when Rose and two friends, Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton (who is also Rose's personal manager), invited her to Rose's Beverly Hills house. She says there, they slipped a drug into her drink with the aim of raping her.
The plaintiff says she escaped the house with a friend, but later that night, Rose and his friends broke into her apartment and gang raped her while she was incapacitated. She says she remembers only "flashes" of the incident, but can remember the defendants forcibly raping her.
She claims she waited for two years to file the suit because she was "ashamed and embarrassed" of what happened and concerned her "conservative family" would find out.
She wants unspecified damages.
We've reached out to an attorney for Rose, but so far β¦ no word back.
Wasn't he married and with a kid and a family man since 2012? Doesn't he publicly care a lot for his kid?
I can't imagine Rose of all players to be a Kobe, Dwight, Malone, etc.
I'll wait this out but with the money he makes I find this story really sketchy. False accusations are going to ruin this woman's life if she is lying.

I forgot to finish but I meant to say it doesn't add up with his personality from what I know of. If this ends up being true he must be one of the most low-key scumbags there then.
Like why is he being sued but not having charges pressed against him this doesn't make sense. Correct me if I am wrong as I'm not a citizen and I'm not entirely familiar with the criminal justice system in this country.
Plus wasn't his legs like dead in the time between. His knees were completely dead.
another kobeism. <3
Kobe Bryant sat down with Shaquille O' Neal to discuss their former LA Lakers feud: "holy s**t, I was an idiot when I was a kid."

Criminal system is shit for rape victims, been too long for evidence of the incident. Also rapists are typically low-key, that's how they keep raping? What do you expect him to do, tell everybody he's out there rapin'?
By K@do Go To Postanother kobeism. <3The best part is that he's referring to Shaq and not himself.
Shaq: "A lot of things. You just played the clip where I said I wanted to be traded. I definitely did not want to leave L.A., but you know that's how you've got to talk when you're in business, especially when you think you're in control. Definitely didn't want to leave L.A. A lot of stuff was said out of the heat of the moment. I guarantee I don't remember a lot of stuff that they said because I changed my thought process of, you know what, we won three out of four, what the hell are you all talking about? This is not really even a story."http://www.podcastone.com/the-big-podcast-with-shaq
Kobe: "Here's the thing, though. When you say it at the time, you actually mean it, and then when you get older, you have more perspective and you're like, holy ****. I was an idiot when I was a kid
