Memphis probably need to move zach to the bench, and look at a fresh starting 5 that has a bit more scoring power. Form a bench unit around zach, but a starting unit that is better all around.
Easily said. but tobias harris? from orlando would be a good get.

A girl I'm dating is supposedly attending a brunch that KD's mom will be attending.
I told her to ask her about kd2dc if the chance presents itself

if the lock up Gasol and if Deng opts out he would a great fit
Good news is the biggest reason we lost the series is expiring after next year and should be replaced by an all-star mvp stud, bad news is we're still stuck with him for a year and our most versatile and clutchest player might be retiring.
One trade I think about quite a bit is Nene for Faried. Faried is a contract that Denver seems to regret, and I think they'll be looking to tank soon. I could see them taking Nene and buying him out. He'd be a nice backup big for say, San Antonio. Pairing the Manimal with a high intensity player like Wall is very enticing. A player like Faried would have won us the Hawks series through rebounding alone, but he isn't really the ideal stretch 4 starter that you'd like to see next to Wall. Defensively as well I'm not to sure how I feel about him. I've always thought he was simply an average defender. Thoughts on Faried defense slaent?
Besides that, we need a sixth man off the bench. KS needs to go, we need a dependable backup C. I'd like to get our own version of Schroeder/IT, which I think we can get in this draft. IWMTB/Other draft heads--thoughts on Tyus Jones vs Jerian Grant? I prefer Jones.
Beal will get a max. Youth + playoff career averages of 21, 5 and 5...there's just no avoiding it. Kids only 21.

By diehard Go To PostFaried is bad defensivelyHe's real bad on that end. He's a really limited player in general and hasn't improved at all since coming into the league. Like, he still doesn't really have any offensive skill, except that his hustle sometimes gets him buckets.
I don't know, I've seen him a lot the last couple years, same division and such, I'm just not a fan. And three different coaches now have all come to the conclusion they can't play him all that much. It can't just be me.
By diehard Go To PostIf you are a 3 and D guy away from maybe beating the best team in the league, you arent a treadmill team.
Nobody knows what the fuck a treadmill team is these days.
a treadmill team cant get over the hump..... you guys cant get over the hump mostly cause your offense often stalls for periods of the game.
The only reason I mention a D and 3 guy at the 2 as a must get is because of Game 4 Bogut on Allen.
You guys still need a SF and its not as easy as getting Harris either because we've seen what happens when memphis gets a volume scorer who isn't ok with just taking shots available in the offense.... If Deng was younger that would be great but he is not so putting your hopes in him being the answer is premature. Honestly you guys need d and 3 guys at the 2 and 3 and a bench
By diehard Go To PostNobody knows what the fuck a treadmill team is these days.Dy maybe, but yeah, Memphis was def a treadmill team.
The 3/D guy is just trying to marginilze the fact they still lost after being up 2-1.
They have to take care of their own players first

There is confidence among Gasol's teammates that he won't want to leave their Grit & Grind core, but that Spurs possibility worries them.

Does Gasol make more sense than LMA for the Spurs?

Faried's effort and shit takes him out of the play every damn time on defense, it looks like he legit never knows where his man is...ever

Losing your girl to KD's skinny ass would be way more demoralizing than losing her to Russ.
I'm mean. Look at this:

Kristaps Porzingis, a smooth-shooting power forward from Latvia, has emerged as a serious threat to break into the top three of the June 25 draft in a potential serious shakeup to the long-held perception the top four spots are set, with some executives at the pre-draft combine here saying Porzingis could go second.
“He could go two,” one general manager said. “He’s that good. Nobody says anything bad about him.”
Said the head of basketball operations for another team: “I think he’s a lock for the top five and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go as high as top three. He’s good. We all like to do our comparables. He’s like Dirk Nowitzki or Pau Gasol….. I’d take him ahead of (Jahlil) Okafor.”

By WojDonovan has a targeted interest in several potential candidates, including ex-New Orleans Pelicans coach Monty Williams, Chicago Bulls assistant Andy Greer and Portland Trail Blazers assistant Nate Tibbetts, league sources said.Monty would be a nice addition. I gained a lot of respect for him because of the way he handled his firing from the Pels.

"'I think you’re a $100 million dollar player.’ I hear that and I’m like, ‘Really?!’" said Cauley-Stein about comments made to him by Bird.
"They see me as a player in the five position & put Paul (George) at the four. Now I’ll have a mismatch…"

Kevin Seraphin is prepared to leave the Washington Wizards this offseason in free agency in order to receive a larger opportunity.
Seraphin, who signed a one-year qualifying offer last summer for $3.9 million to remain with Washington, is eager to receive more minutes.
"I definitely want a chance to be a starter," Seraphin, who matched his career high with 79 regular-season appearances but didn't start a game for the 46-win Wizards, told CSNwashington.com. "I definitely want to be somewhere I have a chance to be a starter."
