By butt Go To PostYea but does Cleveland really need an old scoring pg who shoots slightly above average coming off the bench? Okay insurance for the regular season but I don't see him making much difference in April. Maybe I'm dumb. The problem with delladova was that he can't shoot.
Mo can.
It really cramped their spacing.
By PsyEatadick6969int Go To PostMaybe for Kmart?Outside of Mason Plumlee and Lillard... who on that Portland team is worth trading for.
Not sure what would constitute as a major deal between those two teams.
Arguably, the wolves are as good / better at most spots.
Lillard, CJ McCullom and Meyers Leonard for Ricky Rubio and Zach Lavine.
Terrible trade for both parties tho.

the more shooters you give LBJ the more dangerous he becomes. Cle was lacking bench scoring too... he is a good fit for them

wha? How would that be a bad trade for the wolves?
By blackace Go To Postwha? How would that be a bad trade for the wolves?I wouldn't take that trade either tbh. I got more faith in Rubio unfucking himself and Lavine turning into a good 2 than Damian being anything near as good as he looked next to LMA and Matthews.

I love LaVine and think he will be a great player.. But Wiggins, Lillard and KAT would be an explosive core...
By diehard Go To PostI'll punch myself in the face if LaVine turns into a great player.please youtube it
By blackace Go To PostI love LaVine and think he will be a great player.. But Wiggins, Lillard and KAT would be an explosive core…I don't think Lillard matches anything that the Wolves need though. Between Wiggins and KAT, I think Rubio is a perfect gel PG and Lavine is basically unlimited potential (and they can sell higher imo too).
Lavine is an idiot now but imagine how young Kobe would've looked running point for a tanking franchise. Would've been an equally taint-ridden abomination.

The Wolves eat up a gigantic salary in Lillard plus McCullom and Leonard, I don't think it works because of salary but if it hypothetically did, the Wolves would eat up a max player salary vs. Rubio at his current 4 years, 55mil.
The Blazers would clear up a shit ton of salary cap but they lose a dynamic scorer and get LaVine for McCullom and Leonard. I don't think LaVine is gonna be great, at times? sure. But I see him as inconsistent and a role player not a to go option. They get Rubio but they have like no one else who can score.
Either way it won't happen because the Blazers are holding on to Lillard.
Take Lillard out of the equation and you could see Mason Plumlee and Noah Vonleh go for Nikola Pekovic.

Unless you are an incredible talent like Kidd or young Tony Parker having a PG who can't shoot really hurts your spacing.. Lillard is a good passer and can run an offense. The spacing he would give Wiggins and KAT would make them a real scoring threat...
LaVine I think is going to end up as a better DeRozen I figure..

and he didn't run that offense at all either. But I do agree with you about Lavine - I don't see him not becoming a good player. Efficient or not, guys that young in the NBA that score are a rarity.
Rubio's had his hurdles early, sure, but I honestly think that there isn't a point guard in the league that's been as propped up by others as Lillard. The guy just lost his entire support framework in one offseason - you gotta wait to see if he can at least start the season off hot before you trade for him. Its not like he's anywhere near Harden's level pre-Rockets.
only defender who's worse than lillard is kobe but he is a bombass shooter and towns might eventually be able to cover for him
I missed all this Rubio talk. Goodness.
I'd take him over Lillard. But I'd take him over a lot of point guards because defense matters. I'm very impartial here.

Right, Rubio gets his opponent down to only 6% better shooting that he shoots himself.
That is, when he plays.

I'd take a PG who can shoot but can't defend over a PG who can defend but can't shoot, choice is even easier in today's NBA and add another multiplier on top of that when you got KAT and Andrew Wiggins behind him.
Rubio's vision will help them both out early on but when they're solidified NBA players I'd imagine someone like Dame would be better for the team than Rubio.

ESPN's MVP forecast has Lebron #1, then Davis, Harden, Durant and Curry #5. Lebron will probably coast again, so not sure why he's first. I think Harden/Durant/Curry/Aldridge all have an equally good chance with AD a bit behind since 55+ wins doesn't seem likely.
I'm pretty sure that rumor came from a hack writer with no merit, probably not worth discussing much.
But i mean nothing is going on anyway.
But i mean nothing is going on anyway.
I think we just happy to use every opportunity to trash Rubio..
Instead Dame tho, how about chase off Conley's expiring, tell him he gonna get full max, memphis might bite with deal involving rubio.
I pay Conley 200m+ as small market team, its gonna be awhile for Wiggins and KAT get theirs anyway

Aldrige? he never got higher than 7 on the MVP voting and i don't think playing with the Spurs system is gonna help him that much. I'd take Kawhi over him too.

By PSY! Go To PostDon't really see how lebron is number onegood look on that name change..
I don't see LBJ being MVP also... but I think he going to have a better year this season...
Unless GSW has another amazing season or Curry gets even more godlike, I don't think he'll get it. I would say it'll be Harden or Davis and I'm going with Davis. He is about to unleash holy hell
By PSY! Go To PostMVP is going to Harden,Kd,Davis or Curry.you forgot lebron. harden is not even close, you guys overrated that guy. He only lucked out that bron got hurt for a good portion of the season along with KD.
I'd put money on KD.
Bron didn't get hurt for a good portion of the season. He missed two weeks. Thats it.
Harden carried a garbage squad to the 2nd seed out west and made the WCF.
