Dude was the third leading assister and we gave up nobody that averaged more than 10 minutes a game. Its worth a look. I'm pretty sure it won't work out but we didn't lose anything too significant.

besides the 2016 1st rounder, that is some epic trash that Denver got in return for Lawson
it's pretty incredible how much his value has tanked in just a year's time
this could work out incredibly well for Houston, Lawson giving them offense and playmaking next to Harden while Beverely comes off the bench with defense
they still need a 6th man scoring punch off the bench tho

A top 10-ish PG for a late first is a steal. If he fucks up, we'll stretch him and be in the same position. If he gets better, we've just added a major upgrade to the team.
Lawson is low cost but he could easily tear that lockerroom apart as well, Hi-risk hi-reward low asset expenditure move. Morey has to be loving himself over this one.
