By rodeoclown Go To PostThe Timberwolves say Nikola Pekovic is making a great recovery from his ankle surgery, he'll be resuming basketball activities in September and should be good to go this year! I'm so happy!Has he lost some weight? I think that might be an issue for him going forward considering the leg problems he's had. But that's good to hear
By KingGondo Go To PostHe's apparently on track. He was out of his walking boot when he showed up to Orlando summer league. He said he's doing some on-court stuff.
Apparently the success rate for the bone graft procedure he had is very high.
Knux hyped

But that's good to hearI know he was like 290 last year, but he's just a really thick dude. He's pretty lean/cut considering. So I'm not sure what he can really do to cut weight, but I imagine the team will try. The plan now just sounds like keeping him on a limits restriction of about 20-25 minutes a night. If we can get that from him, that's great considering the talk not that long ago was wondering if he'd play again.

By SamuraiX- Go To PostYeah I wouldn't be surprised if the Clippers actually won fewer regular season games next year, but the important thing is that Paul Pierce brings excellent playoff experience and clutch shooting.

By AlphaSnacks Go To PostSpurs will be a 60W team next season barring any major health issues.Yeah the biggest question mark is the PG position with TP's health. If Duncan goes down, they still have West and LMA.
TP Manu are injury prone and LMA has had his share of injuries. Duncan is 40 american years old. The fall off at that age is usually sudden even if he has been aging like wine.
If healthy, I see OKC and GSW winning 60+ games.
Too many variables in play for me to put SAS up there with them.

That's the spirit. At least you'll have an awesome young prospect to cheer for year after next maybe.
The National Basketball Players Association is considering a crackdown on the practice of agents representing both coaches and players, and it may come to a resolution on the issue when its executive committee meets later this month in Las Vegas, according to several sources.http://grantland.com/the-triangle/double-dribble-the-conflict-of-interest-concern-with-agents-representing-players-and-coaches/
The loudest agitators for stricter enforcement are agents who represent only coaches and executives, and smaller agencies that claim that bigger fish leverage their connections with coaches and GMs to lure players. “There could be problems with some agents using the fact that they represent a coach as a hiring tool,” Roberts says.

Man this story is just so weird. Regardless, it looks like DJ has a lot of growing up to do. It's also a bit weird that he reached out to Parsons but not to Cuban. I wonder if Cuban is just really difficult to deal with considering all his FA issues.

Celtics and Suns feel like two teams with good coaches that produce wins with a roster that keeps rotating players in and out because the front office isn't sure what they want to do.

it's funny because he really claims he spoils his players but you don't really hear a lot of former players praising him... I get the feeling he is a I pay well so I own you type of owner. Like the time he started a boo Finley thing because he left
I think Cuban was at the forefront of modernizing the NBA. Upgraded locker rooms, better flights, special tech for the players, etc.
But now every team has that and that advantage is gone.
Poor Blake.

Brooklyn has traded guard Steve Blake to Detroit for Quincy Miller, with the Nets likely releasing Miller, league sources tell RealGM.

By Mamba Go To PostPoor Blake.Sweet an extra roster spot.
Wonder what we do with it. Boatright can get buckets but he can't really do anything else. Do we go after a third point guard, or do we sign Cliff Alexander to further bury Bargnani on the deepest end of the bench?
