After all that whinning for not making the Allstar game I am not sure I would refer to Lillard as humble and down to earth.
I don't know if Austin did worse in the latter half of the Houston series because he regressed, if the other team figured him out, or he struggled to do well without the rest of the team playing well. Hopefully it's the last option because that's the only way he's going to have any lasting power. Still, considering our cap limitations, I'm not exactly upset about him being re-signed.

By Omzz Go To PostAll that's left is a LMA diss track from LillardHonestly at this point Lillard would use it as more fuel to the fire for himself. He's probably glad on the low that LMA is gone so he doesn't have to worry about whether another Footlocker commercial is gonna make him cry.
By Moris Go To PostWiggins/Towns is gonna be such a force.Towns did a dunk between his legs that scrimmage.
I'm about as excited for next year as I've been about this team for a long time.
This is the equivalent of the "FINISH HIM" moment in Mortal Kombat, and Bomani is just standing there deciding whether or not to unleash the fatality. Doubt he will, Broussources is beneath him.

Rumbles overseas hint 7-foot-4 giant Boban Marjanovic, Euro Center of the Year, has a deal with San Antonio.
of course they do
So rumors on Twitter are that the Spurs are signing 7 foot 4 euro center of the year Boba Marjanovic

Bropez talking about RoLo
Q. Did you help recruit your brother to the Knicks?
A. I did help recruit my brother to the Knicks, but as a non-Knicks supporter I helped recruit him there. I think he's going to be a detriment to them, absolutely.
Q. You have always gotten the better of him in head-to-head matchups, so maybe that's another reason, right?
A. Right, absolutely. I'm kind of the Robin Lopez Kryptonite, and there's a lot of Robin Lopez Kryptonite in the world.
Q. Will you guys consider living together here in New York City?
A. I’ve been telling a few people I’m going to, first off, charge him rent definitely. I’m going to kind of go the Harry Potter route, like the Dursleys kept Harry Potter under the staircase in the cupboard. Something like that.
Q. Is there anything that Robin Lopez does better than you?
A. He loses better than I do. I know that. That came to me right away.
Q. I’m sure that you guys growing up had many 1-on-1 battles in the backyard.
A. Ours was in the front yard in the driveway.
Q. Did you ever lose?
A. I never lost the ones we actually finished, because a lot of the times it ended in us fighting or someone running inside to get mom and start whining.
Q. How come you have a so much better offensive game than him?
A. I think it was just from playing together. The one thing he always loved doing is blocking shots. He loved doing that. He loved bringing energy to the team. And I think we just kind of fell into those roles playing beside each other.
By clevinger Go To Postof course they do
that is indeed some bullshit.
I find the DJ thing hilarious honestly. Players get tossed around like ragdolls between teams, I have absolutely no sympathy for billionaire owners and their well paid FO.
doc signing his son to a contract extension is some conflict of interest type shit on a whole 'nother level goddamn

It also fucked up Wes Matthew's plans along with a few other players.
Hearing that the Clippers remain in pursuit of Josh Smith as well on top of their planned signings today of Cole Aldrich and Austin Rivers
From Arash. How conflicted would IWMTB be?

I'm sorry I'm just chuckling at Chandler Parsons talking about ethics and respect in a league with some of the worst team owners (including the previous one of the Clippers), consistent cover-ups of or plain looking the other way when it comes to bad behavior on behalf of players, ignoring the welfare of players for a "get out there and play" mentality and generally expecting any kind of loyalty from people who are consistently shuffled around like pieces on a board by assholes who expect results in far too little time.

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postso is dallas gonna tank or notThey owe their top-8 protected pick to Boston. They'd have to really tank.
By Moris Go To PostIs that the rest of our cap? 35 year old Caron Butler? Ehh... at least it's not JR Smith or J-Smoove?
By rodeoclown Go To PostCaron Butler hasn't been able to play in like five years. And they gave him two years. He can still hit 3s at a nice clip and doesn't turn it over much. More veteran leadership for a young team that's still too careless with the ball.
Would've prob preferred STAT or Quincy Acy, but not complaining at all about this one..... until I see the terms. <_<
By Moris Go To Postwow seriously?

I had no idea their relationship devolved into this
D-Will only just turned 31. Should still have enough to have a bit of a reemergence in a situation where he's happy.

I actually agree. Cuban and his bucket loads of cash can get fucked. The only people I feel bad for in this are the Mavs fans since it sets their team back a couple years in development.
Maybe DAJ could have gone about things differently, but I tend to side with the players over the owners 9 times out of 10.
Butler is basically just there as locker room presence. Surprised it's two years, but maybe 1+1 TO.
Kings got a lot older, but their primary players are all young.

By HasphatsAnts Go To PostI just feel bad for Dirk. Cuban wasted 5 years of his career.
And convinced him to take less money!
Caron is a lockerroom signing, a good one too. If anyone can reach DMC and guide WCS, there aren't a whole lot of better options than Caron at 1.5 mil a year.
Yeah I think it's always good if you've got a level-headed veteran for not much money to actually stabilize the locker room and provide leadership. The Kings have had some decent signings the longer the offseason went on. Really I don't think this offseason was a disaster for anybody. Even the Mavericks SHOULD be ready to tank soon. I feel bad for Dirk, but again he's got a ring and is essentially a lock for the HOF, so this does nothing to tarnish his legacy.
so Kangz are
PG: Rondo and Collison
SG: Marco, McLemore and Anderson
SF: Gay, Casspi, Butler (all can play some smallball 4)
4/5: Cousins, WCS and Koufos.
3 pt shooters: Marco, McLemore, Butler, Gay, Collison and (maybe) Casspi. Omri actually lead the team in % by the end of the year, but started off ice cold. Not sure how well Anderson shoots it now. Spent a year away in Euroleague.
For short bursts, you could run Collison, Marco, McLemore, Casspi/Butler, Gay and Cousins. 1 in and 4 out.

I'm a bit confused though... how would the Clippers even get Josh Smith? I figure they'd have to do a S&T with Houston, but surely they don't want Crawford.
