lol
Seriously, if there is one city Durant truly talks fondly of, it's Seattle and the region.
Might as well add raptors to the mix since he loved watching them growing up cause of Vince Carter
But he loved Vince so much..

By jjasper Go To PostTrying to use where someone went to college as proof of being cool with OKC. Gondo please. My point is that he doesn't have an aversion to the region of Oklahoma/Texas.
He might love OKC and have no problem staying but where he went to college is not really any kind of evidence.

So he can play with Kawhi and LMA when Duncan and Manu retire next year? Sounds like a plan to me!

Please. Coach K would be a great coach at any level.
Pretty sure KD had a good ass night of sleep in a hotel in Charlotte once.

Hearing that another target for the luxury-tax strapped Clippers is Josh Smith.
that's pretty nice for both teams
is Crash dead already? he got like 0 playing time in Boston... only 32 years old?

I heard Wallace is retiring after this season...David Lee, I can live that, he know how to do basketball things.

The only reason for the Clippers to bring Josh Smith would be to get their soul back after Smoove shang tsunged that shit with those stepback 3s in the Western Conference Semis.

Knicks still have a strong chance. This trade is just trading of contracts. Frees up $5 for GSW.
Boozer and Smith can't play center. We still don't have a center. Like... am I the only one concerned about this?

I don't know who I feel about the lakers being a stepping stone to eventual clipper contracts in recent years.
Jamison/Barnes/Farmar and now Johnson. What the shit kind of pattern is this.

Blake at Center. RIP all his energy.
Either way this fucks with Blake's development as a player playing out of positions, ones he does not like.
I'm gonna miss David Lee. I hope this leads to a Barnes/Ezeli extension...

I actually like Wesley Johnson, but for once we're actually kind of loaded at SF. We really need centers or at least flexible PFs. Everybody talks about the Warriors' small ball, but there's no way they make it to the Finals without Bogut.

You're mad that Lakers pick up trash and then the Clips pick it up right after LA drops it?
It makes sense for cheap players to negotiate with Clips, keeps them from uprooting their families, selling their homes, get to stay in LA. Pretty simple.

Last year we were missing Ezeli AND Bogut due to injuries for the 2013-2014 year. We had to play Speights and Jermaine O'Neal at Center with Mark Jackson's coaching and still took Clips to 7 that year when the Clips had Alvin Gentry as the lead Assistant under Doc Rivers. Dray and Lee started but we were basically playing 2 PFs there.
I think we can manage if we have at least a center in Ezeli and having Dray play the 5 during some stretches. Bogut is great but for long term and for development, Ezeli is gonna be our man.

I'm not even arguing that the Warriors suck without their big men. I'm saying that using them as an example to say that big men don't matter is pretty short-sighted. You need at least SOME rim protection or you'll have no hope of a deep playoff run.

I get why it makes sense. It's still a shitty pattern to witness as a Laker Fan who has always considered the Clips a JV franchise.. Also, considering this pattern pretty much started with CP3. I wouldn't call it exclusively trash.

CP3 didn't leave LA and sign with The Clips, it was a completely different situation.
If anything it really highlights The Clips JV status, they're the fallback for players who can't get deals with LA.

My bad I read that wrong. #NonNativeSpeakerProblems.
I thought you meant that Bogut was an absolute necessity for our team. Honestly I haven't been enjoying his attitude at all during the final games of the season and I hope that Ezeli plays a bigger role in the following season.
I agree that you do need at least one good defensive center for matchups, size is a necessity. But stretch 5 and longer bodies that can do multiple things can play that role as well.
OMG Broussources and Bomani going at it on Twitter. Broussard all salty that Bo called Russell Wilson "stupid" for wanting to wait until marriage to have sex with Ciara.

Eh. Not really a completely different situation being as how that's the only time it's ever happened where Stern vetoed a trade for basketball reasons.
But it's still a come to the Lakers, then go to the Clippers.
Also, that's not what's happening. These guys are actively leaving the lakers to play for the clippers. They're playing for a better team and in some cases getting bigger contract offers. It's a bizarro world
it's not completely different....it's just the first time it ever happened in the history of the sport....what.
You're seeing a pattern that doesn't mean anything.

Broussard is big into that creepy KingMovement, he has a lot of antiquated beliefs. Remember how he was quoting scripture to hate on gay people when he was live on ESPN, think it was in defense of Mark Jackson.

I was thinking that Wesley Johnson might fit into a Karl system. Mold him into a Corey Brewer type. Not happening now.
Still room for a wing on the Kings.
