By Forever Go To PostI would if he ever regretted it or apologized for it.He was 16. The amount of dumb shit people do at 16 is literally uncountable.
By giririsss Go To PostHe was 16. The amount of dumb shit people do at 16 is literally uncountable.Again making the mistake is forgivable, but he's not sorry. He publicly went out and said how not sorry he was. And as far as I know he remains not sorry, so fuck him.
By Chandler ParsonsWe're going to go and add one of the best 2-guards in this league who can defend and post up and space the floor and knock down shots. When you look at us three, I couldn't think of a better 5 and 2 that I would want to play with.Nobody likes Dwight and Harden, LOL.
By Forever Go To PostAgain making the mistake is forgivable, but he's not sorry. He publicly went out and said how not sorry he was. And as far as I know he remains not sorry, so fuck him.Didn't you want your team to trade for Lance Stephenson last season? lmao
By Branduil Go To PostNobody likes Dwight and Harden, LOL.
DJ and Wes are the best at almost nothing tho..
By jWILL253 Go To PostI'm a little different from DB, as I'm a fan of both teams & players. So much wishful thinking. The Harden trade was bad, I'll admit, but it also looks a lot worse in hindsight than it did at the time. Firing Brooks was the right thing to do. KD didn't give a shit about the team moving. He went to college in Texas and by all accounts enjoys OKC.
I don't blame players for looking the other way. Kevin Durant is arguably the best player in the league, and he's seen his team moved, his teammates & friends traded for peanut butter sandwiches, and seen his head coach fired for not overcoming chance & circumstance.
KD knows that they'll pull the plug on him in a heartbeat, like the organization has to literally anyone & everyone that walks through the door, regardless of their value to him personally, or the team overall. If he bounced next year, I wouldn't blame him one bit, just like I didn't blame Lebron for bouncing out on Cleveland.
FWIW I've watched Sonicsgate and I hope Seattle gets another team. But comparing this OKC/KD situation to LeBron when he left the Cavs is hilariously disingenuous.

It's funny to say what he said was wishful thinking but then tell him what cities KD enjoys lol
Milwaukee Bucks president Peter Feigin told Wisconsin lawmakers Monday that time was of the essence in approving $250 million in public funding for the proposed arena in downtown Milwaukee or the NBA will move the team to another city.I'm really glad Las Vegas is getting that hockey team so they can be used as leverage now, too.
At an informational hearing held by the state Legislature's Joint Finance Committee, Feigin said the Bucks owners' purchase agreement for the team includes a provision that construction of a new arena start in 2015. If that does not occur, he said the NBA will buy back the team for a $25 million profit and move them to "Las Vegas or Seattle."
By blackace Go To PostIt's funny to say what he said was wishful thinking but then tell him what cities KD enjoys lolKD spends time here in the offseason, has a townhouse near downtown, has his own restaurant near the arena where he hangs out, and he's involved in the community beyond the required Thunder appearances.
A lot more evidence that he doesn't mind living in this region (especially when you take his college location into account) as opposed to him being devastated about leaving the Pacific NW.

1 year of Texas... lol
By blackace Go To Post1 year of Texas⦠lolHe chose to leave the city he grew up in (and supposedly can't wait to get back to) for Texas, and he still goes back all the time. He's always on the sidelines when UT plays football in Oklahoma.
Besides, let's not pretend that the fact he only spent 1 year there had anything to do with how much he liked Austin.

exactly lol
By KingGondo Go To PostUT basketball ain't Kentucky.Kentucky has only been Kentucky for 5 years. UT was a powerhouse school like UCLA, UNC, Kansas, Duke, Cuse, UConn, etc when KD was there.
Don't confuse alumni obligations with "I love the great state of ____"

By KingGondo Go To PostHe isn't trash, but he's the epitome of great recruiter combined with mediocre coaching ability.that pretty much what great college coaches are..
Lebron enjoyed the city of Miami. LMA enjoyed the city of Portland. Melo enjoyed the city Of Denver.
They all went home.
There's AT LEAST a 50/50 chance that Durant leaves if OKC doesn't chip. Even higher if they get bounced out before the conference finals. Thinking otherwise is honestly grasping at straws and wishful thinking.

By blackace Go To Postthat pretty much what great college coaches are..If by great college coaches you mean Calipari-esque con men. Their "recruiting" usually comes down to how much money they can hide under the table along with sweeping away any academic "discrepancies" anyway.
By blackace Go To Postthat pretty much what great college coaches are..C'mon man. Barnes is nowhere near the level of Self, Calipari, Calhoun, Pitino, Coach K or even Donovan.
Aaaaaaaanyways. This all started because that other Seattle dude was claiming that KD was salty over the franchise's move to OKC and equating his situation to Bron's when his wingmen were Mo Williams and Boobie. It's a laughable comparison.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postfor some reason i just daydreamed about a kemba and dion waiters backcourtIf we want to offload Dion the time is right. Charlotte, Sac, and the Clips would all probably take him.
Unfortunately I think Presti wants to see if Donovan can salvage him.
By reilo Go To PostI'll reserve a spot for you at the table, Gondo.Unfortunately even if KD bolts we'll get to go through the same thing a year later with YNB and Ibaka.
When you think about it, the better the Spurs are, the more likely Durant leaves. Can't wait for ESPN to pretend the Lakers and Knicks are front runners when he's only going home to Washington or going to his best friend in Houston.

so he's coming to Houston then
i mean
it's only 2 hrs away from Austin

Trying to use where someone went to college as proof of being cool with OKC. Gondo please.
He might love OKC and have no problem staying but where he went to college is not really any kind of evidence.
