It's been 3 days now since DJ announced he was leaving and yet the Clippers still haven't gotten a replacement. I can only imagine that they're trying to trade Crawford for one, but who would even make that trade? Cleveland doesn't seem to be ready to give up any of their centers other than Haywood and even if the Clippers did want him for some reason, they'd have to give up more than just Crawford to get him.
West also never envisioned himself as a ring hunter near the end of his career. The thought of trying to wrangle his way to a title contender just doesn't appeal to him.http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nba/pacers/2014/09/30/indiana-pacers-david-west-sees-reality/16506641/
"I'm not going to be one of those guys that's just out here chasing that. I'm not going to be one those guys out here sacrificing who I am, the things that make me me, to go out and get a material goal. That's just not the way I'm wired," West declared. "So, I understand we're not in that space anymore in terms of this group, but that's fine. It's just a reality you have to deal with, but you got to accept it and face it in order to get yourself moving and producing positively."

It'd be Crawford for Haywood, you would then flip his non-guaranteed contract to fill those holes.
By psychintellect Go To PostMo sucks. Waste of money. He shouldnt be playing more than 15 minutes per night if you're trying to win. He COMPLETELY keeled over on the back half of our season. But then again, he had a 30+ usage rate with us lol
By D'Moris Russell Go To PostIt'd be Crawford for Haywood, you would then flip his non-guaranteed contract to fill those holes.I don't think the salaries match up there. The Clippers would have to throw in somebody else most likely. Even then, who would they go for on other teams? There aren't that many centers that I think teams would be willing to give up that aren't total garbage.
Mo is fine. But he shouldn't be your best PG.
In a 15mpg role, he'll be good for you. Which is what the spurs/grizz would be looking for.

By giririsss Go To PostMo is fine. But he shouldn't be your best PG.Yeah I think he's a really solid backup PG. The problem is that he's been asked to be a starter in recent years due to injuries.

I just dont have any faith in Parker being healthy anymore. His backup may as well be prepared to get the full job at a moment's notice.

That's the basic framework being talked about, it's gonna be rough for The Clips either way.

By giririsss Go To PostExcept that i have faith in a backup pairing of Mills & Mo to be fine, especially when you have Manu to also run the offense. The Spurs backcourt power has been injured like.... every year over the past 3-4 seasons though. I'd like to think that they'd be health but at the same time, its a huge weakness of theirs the instant someone goes down.
And you can never rely on Mo in the playoffs in any capacity.
By Red Blaster Go To Postpeeps forgetting tony parker was 2014 kobe bad in the playoffs this yearPretty much. People keep expecting him to do better for some reason--presumably, under the assumption that he can't do any worse?
By SamuraiX- Go To Postdafuq? fuck him
we're good on Cs and he'll just hinder WCS's development
kings need to go after an actual PF if they're thirsty for more bigs
If the Kings sign him, it's to sit on the end of the bench and cheerlead. Pretty much the same as last year.
Their rotation is set. Only slight need is another defensive wing.
@WojYahooNBA: Free agent guard Mo Williams has reached agreement with the Cavaliers, league source tells Yahoo Sports.
HE'S BACK
I guess he is a better option than Delly. But don't think I forgot about him choking in the playoffs. Still salty bout that.
By spooks Go To PostI guess he is a better option than Delly. But don't think I forgot about him choking in the playoffs. Still salty bout that.Mo's defense is legit atrocious. If I wasn't so focused on hating Al Jefferson last year, I'd have spoken more about it.
By diehard Go To Postwait wasnt Mo like the only dude with heart in one of those last Boston games?Yeah. But that's so Mo Williams tbh
By psychintellect Go To PostHe can finally watch thunder cats again
Delly can barely dribble it over the time line though. Every time he starts backing people up at half court I rage.
Rolling my eyes about Mo
I'm not sure the cap works when guys are going to just circumvent it. just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

somebody will trade for nene tho
Sort of happy for Mo to be re-united with LeBron and Cleveland. Hopefully it ends in tragedy and heartbreak again
I guess Mo being caught in his feelings like a hurt sidechick when Bron left the first time is just water under the bridge now?
By pilonv1 Go To Postand it will be for Cody Zeller & PJ Hairstonhow many years nene got left?

Cleveland might flip Anderson and Haywood for JJ tho
By D'Moris Russell Go To PostMo's Home
He'll probably be their starting PG in the playoffs.
Mo is LBJ's jump-off
Stein says they're still serious about re-signing JR too.

By thekad Go To PostJR Smith gonna end up in ChinaHe's not welcome there anymore.
Within days of J.R. Smith arriving armed with a historic $3 million contract, Zhejiang of the Chinese Basketball League had come to regret signing the clown prince of basketball. From unreasonable demands on the kind of car needed to curry him around the city, to skipping practices for shopping excursions in neighboring cities, to a relentless pattern of insubordination, Smith's bad act had never been worse.
Perhaps his greatest excess of idiocy had been a weekend of running a room service bill into the proximity of $3,000, a source with direct knowledge told Yahoo Sports. He kept ordering food, stacking piles of trays upon trays – "just to see if they would keep bringing it to the room," the source said.
All uneaten, all on the franchise's tab – all a window into a fool.
By Vlatko Go To PostNeed someone to post the sad Mo GIF for me while I'm out of the country.
By masud Go To PostNaw someone will give him a large one year deal.
please God let it be Sacremento
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To Postplease God let it be SacrementoWould be amazing.
They still need a PF right? They should also trade for Morris.
By the end of the season everyone from the coach to the point guard will be in jail.
