By xnipx Go To Post"Or the NBA will move the team"???This is how literally every single stadium negotiation goes. You need some kind of leverage to ask people to give hundred of millions of dollars.
By diehard Go To PostAnyone else go back and read old gaf threads?I'll take my L on that one, but let's not pretend there weren't lots of people questioning the max last offseason.
people being horrendously wrong amuses me.
currently reading posts where reilo and sharp take huge L's on a certain white player from Butler
i remember watching scout footage of vesely with my brother and just erupting with laughter at how bad he was and the prospect of us drafting him :(
By giririsss Go To PostI hear that if you say ridnour 3 times he appears.
I'd rather take Mo Williams...
Gary Neal come back to the Spurs? Too bad he's a scorer and not a facilitator.

I could of sworn it was always "we will move to a more profitable market". Has the NBA itself actually moved a team?

By K@do Go To PostSuns looking to trade markieff Morris
YES
Now that David West is off the table I think the Raps may look into Morris.
By xnipx Go To PostI could of sworn it was always "we will move to a more profitable market". Has the NBA itself actually moved a team? Not that I can recall. The only time I can ever remember a league relocating a team is Major League Baseball moving the Montreal Expos. But it's just a way for the league to try and help strong arm the state and to make it look like the owners aren't the bad guys here. If the team is relocated, it'll be on the politicians that wouldn't give them $500M and the league imperative for a new arena.
Reading the Cousins talk in the 2010 draft discussion is RIPE.
I got to give props to thekad tho:
Guess who said this:

I got to give props to thekad tho:
Cousins isn't going to be a bust. He has a good chance of being the best player in the draft. Weight problems :lol
Guess who said this:
Zach is a great player just lazy. I would love to have a player with Zach's skill set..
But Cousins isn't going to be as good as Zach :(
or who said this
In fact, Cousins has more in common with Thabeet than anything.
By Face it Tiger.. Go To PostYESI'm confused. You seem happy about the possibility of acquiring a Morris.

apparently espnLA is saying chicago/la talks are real to get Lin to the Bulls,
they want Lin or Clarkson.

Gonna have to invade Canada to do that.
He's gonna play only at the home games. :P :jnc
I heard a rumor, nothing reported yet, that there's some shit behind the scenes going on with DWill.
If we can't find a way to trade him it's possible he might be bought out and stretched to avoid the repeater tax.

Yeah, he'll never have the post game of a DeAndre Jordan.

Lin going there to take the Aaron Brooks/Nate Robinson PG gunner off the bench role on the Bulls huh?
If they get Clarkson though that could be a good pickup just because he's young enough to learn better

Um Stern has come down in favor of the moves of teams with the threat of "this facility isn't state of the art enough." Might want to watch that Sonics doc jwill posted.

Sources: The first year of Cory Joseph's deal will be worth $5M
If true :o
puts Toronto in a better spot to sign a great PF.

any combo of JLin Hill Sacre or Young is welcome to be shipped out.
Don't want to give up Clarkson for anything on the Bulls roster that they'd be willing to part with.

By D'Moris Russell Go To PostSpurs are stacked but very fucking old, could crash down on them fairly easily. Wouldn't trust anyone more to manage their minutes than Pop tho.
I agree with you. Plus their division is full of quality bigs. Its not going to be a cake walk

You, my friend, get the Director's Cut.
Give Anderson more playing time and development. Sign Mo Williams. Sign another scorer. Done.
Rotation is
Parker/Mo Williams/Ginobli
Green/Mills/Other FA
Leonard/Anderson/Other FA
LMA/West
Duncan/Diaw/Bonner?
There are no decent young point guards to take for cheap.
LMA is going to play Center and not even realize it during the season.

?
Parker/Mills
Green/Manu
Not the best rotation in the league, but plenty good with three star players in the front court. Parker isn't as bad as he was last year, though he'll probably break down in the playoffs like always. Then Mills goes off.
By KingGondo Go To PostAdande made an interesting point: both LMA and West are prolific from mid-range. It'll be interesting to see what changes, the system or their shot locations.
Adande is a basketball analytic child. Spurs shoot PLENTY of mid range shots. That's Tony Parker/Tim Duncan's perimeter strength.
Ehh, I'm done. The wave of idiots who don't care about basketball enough to study more than "everyone who wins must only be shooting 3's" is overtaking people who give a fuck
Yeah I'm confused, the one who's the three man is Green. Otherwise I see plenty of mid-range from other players.

we're good on Cs and he'll just hinder WCS's development
kings need to go after an actual PF if they're thirsty for more bigs

By knux-future Go To PostThe Morris twins legit may go to jail….Chief Kieff is a baller, Marcus is the one more likely to go to jail so if anything Detroit already took that risk.
why trade for them?
Its a shame they have such shitty attitudes though Markieff is very skilled on offense and is on a great contract. Needs to go somewhere with some vets or hardass coach to keep him in line.
But its no surprise he is on the block, McD is already very willing and active on the trade market, dont fuck around and give him a reason to trade you
During their championship season, in 13-14 - Spurs shot 22.5 mid range shots a game. The league highest was 26.
Last season they shot 20 a game, but much of that is due to Parker missing so many games, as he's one of their biggest mid range shooting threats.
Pop isn't going to force West or Aldridge to abandon he mid range game or force them to become prolific 3 point shooters, and their system already allows for tons of mid range shots, it allows for every kind of shot imaginable.

On the contrary I see several articles still listing him as an available free agent and an option for Dallas.
