By Shun Go To PostHe can play with the right coach. He's just a ball dominant PG that needs to rework and regain his confidence.I think it can work if he re-works his game a bit. In 13-14 Lin was a 40% 3 point catch and shooter.
Ellis is pretty ball dominant so I don't know if that's a good combo but it could work. I still have faith in Lin.
He doesn't have to be a starter and can work well as a 6th man.
I mean it sounds like the best realistic option the Mavs have.

By db Go To PostAldridge stuff: create drama in order to pretend like you have an inside ear and get hits.As much as I have been enjoying seeing sour Blazers fans, this is most likely true.
Aldridge staying in Portland is still the most probable outcome.
it'd be dumb to let Lillard get that designated 5 year max
Aldridge has put in too much work to get slighted by the FO like that

would BG still go #1 today?
i know most of you will say no.
but BG revived the clippers, the other two probably wouldn't lure in CP3 in 2011.

Depends on team needs. The top 3 would be some combination of Harden, Curry, and Blake for sure though.
By Dark PhaZe Go To Postit'd be dumb to let Lillard get that designated 5 year maxI don't think Lillard qualifies for the Derrick Rose 5-year max, but both are eligible for the 5-year max. There's two different ones. It's not one or the other. Aldridge is gonna get the 5-year max offer from Portland, and so is Lillard.

Drafting Steph Curry doens't suddenly make the Wolves a competent organization, though. It just puts a talented player in a real bad situation with a team that's actively not trying to win basketball games run by somebody that can't evaluate talent. Steph doesn't develop into the MVP in that environment playing for a coach that's one of the worst ever and with trash teammates like Oleksiy Pecherov.

I am ready for whatever. The worst outcome is actually winning the lottery...if only because that give Hinkie more ammo for fuckery.
Russel or Mudiau ay 3..I don't care
Mario or Winslow at 5,6,. I'm ready.
Falling to 7 might hurt a bit but whatever.

By psychintellect Go To PostMan it'd be great if we could get Wade's replacement out of this draft
The closest SG prospect to 10th overall is Devin Booker. I guess reaching at the 10th spot isn't the worst thing ever, Miami definitely needs wing help, maybe they can take a young SF who can play the SG spot like Kelly Oubre

I shudder to think about what Russ would have become if he had been drafted by say, Sacramento. He might be thought of in the same way Boogie is now.

Be careful what you wish for.
By Moris Go To PostBe careful what you wish for.Are you saying I should worry about having Boogie on the Thunder, or that Boogie and Russ will both end up on the Lakers or something?
Because I'm not worried about the first at all. He's already shown that he can control himself when he's not on a dumpster fire of a team.
Bosh is on the radio right now explaining how that he was feeling injured earlier than when the blood clots appeared, and played way more games than he should have because of the injuries and didn't tell anyone until he started having chest/breathing problems.
explains why he was playing like shit in the weeks prior. Feel bad for shitting on him during those stretches.

Rusell could be that. Riley can get him if he remind Silver of the bodies.
But seriously, the Heat should take a guy like Oubre and hope they can un-Self'd him and he can reach his potential. He has all the tools to be pretty good. That or hope Mario falls a bit. Stan Johnson also may fit here too..as Wade can teach him how to flop and other old man tricks which will work with Stan's lack of lift. The Heat can make out really well at that spot actually.

Not trying to shit on him but denial is a hell of a thing really.
By RBK Go To PostIf a canceled trade by Stern means Blake "lured" CP3 to the Clippers I don't know what to tell you.you know well how teams don't trade for superstars that don't want to stay.
they had to get some kind of commitment and he stayed.
Upon the deal's completion, Paul announced that he would opt into the final year of his contract and remain in Los Angeles for at least two more seasons
Lakers were just too arrogant.

By RBK Go To PostDid CP3 specifically state he wanted to be traded to the Clippers?Numerous times he said he was jealous of their talent.
By RBK Go To PostDid CP3 specifically state he wanted to be traded to the Clippers? No but he probably wouldn't have re-upped without Blake being there and that would have made it hard for them to complete the trade without knowledge they'd have him locked up for two more years. Most superstars being traded prior to FA tend to use this as leverage and it works because no one tends to trade for a guy you'd only have for a year or half of one.
Bottom Line, Blake being there and being considered an up and coming star, made the deal a lot easier to go through. No Blake and CP3 probably tells the Clippers he'd bail ASAP instead of re-upping those two years.

Former University of Kentucky basketball star Willie Cauley-Stein's hyphenated last name is official now, as is a change in his middle name.
Cauley-Stein, 21, was born Willie Durmond Cauley Jr. He filed a name-change order Friday with the Probate Division of the Fayette District Court to legally change his name to Willie Trill Cauley-Stein.
