By The Frankman Go To PostLMA is going to be 300 pounds after this FA period. Dude is bilking everyone to get free grub and swag, like a startup gaming publication that got E3 press passes for the 1st time.
Me first!
Yo we should do a FanDuel/DraftKings Slaent thread once NBA season rolls around. Teach some of these heathens the glory of NBA DFS.
Yeah that be cool. NBA DFS fun with a nice little learning curve... Share some picks/sites...research for me only take 30mins to an hour
Swap Collison with Rondo and then Swap rondo with a SG and then swap Rondo into the trash and that's a decent small ball lineup, but as is.....no spacing.
Mavs had a ton of shooters and Rondo killed their spacing, he's gonna murder SAC. NBA moved waaaay past his limited skillset.

.@WindhorstESPN cites benefits of LAC sign-and-trade with Dallas for Jordan. In fact, source tells me Clips have approached Mavs about it.

@FisolaNYDN: If the Lakers can get one more meeting with LaMarcus Aldridge they'll consider their offseason a success.

As completely expected. Jim Buss' vision for the lakers was a total clusterfuck. The only thing the guy did right, tanking, he lucked into after slews of injuries riddled Kobe and everyone else on the team worth a damn.
Giving Kobe that contract was a mistake, trading 4 picks for a 38 year old was a mistake. Trading for a surgery recovering Dwight with no assurances he'd stay was a mistake. Bynum coming off an All star season could have fetched more.
I defended that shit as, well he's at least trying to win, but swinging for home runs is just laziness. How is Phil in one season making more shrewd and calculated and methodical decisions and Jim Buss is still treating the team like an annual lottery ticket.

Eric Pincus β Verified account β@EricPincusI like Boatwright so this is fine, but wtf? 5 point guards now.
The Brooklyn Nets have signed rookie, UConn pg Ryan Boatwright to a two-year, $1.4 mil minimum deal, $75k guaranteed @BBallInsiders
Billy clearly knows something we don't!

Haven't we been hearing these 2-3 teams for the past couple days since FA started. Shit this ain't news.
By SamuraiX- Go To Postpay corpse of wes matthews $60 million and tank the season brehsThat was kind of obvious when Tyson, Ellis, and Aminu left. Given the options left at center, they'd easily be one of the worst teams in the league if Jordan didn't sign.
By pkaz01 Go To PostEven in the off season we still can't beat the fucking spurs
Hey you guys sweeping us led us to getting kawhi. So there is that

Summer League starts tomorrow at 6AM PST with Justise Winslow vs Myles Turner.
Then Stanley Johnson vs scrubs, Mario Hezonja vs scrubs, Frank Kaminsky vs OKC (no Cameron Payne) and Memphis vs Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (No McCullough).

Guy didn't really say much about it during the season. And he hasn't been fronting the press himself .
Teams have just been chasing him, and this is probably the last big contract he signs, so he's covering his bases, doing the ground work.
I think some of the negative opinions here are coming from the side shows other players ran, and people are just expecting it to devolve into a shit fest.
Why would Durant want to go to a team with no center? They gonna go with a CP3/Lance/Pierce/Durant/Griffin lineup?
I love how the only requirement to become a "real threat" to land a generational talent now is just having enough cap space.
By Forever Go To PostDid Morey not extend a qualifying offer?
its complicated due to his contract they can't use bird to match any offer, They have to use their cap space or an exception. At the same time KJ can only be paid about 5.8 regardless.
The knicks could be waiting for the rockets to use their cap space to keep Josh Smith before making an offer that the Rockets can't match.

Also, to put it into context? Lebron didn't announce he was returning to Cleveland until July 11th last year.
i don't expect Blakes stats to go up that much. His true unleashing comes from playing point forward and CP is still there obviously.
thinking ahead a bit--both Blake and CP could be looking for new teams in 2 years
summer of 17 could have: Ynot, KD (if he takes a 1 year deal in 16), CP3, Blake, Harden

That just means KD will have more free dinners at Ink next year.

Brandan Wright would have been a superstar if college teams could spend as much on free dinners during recruiting as NBA teams.
By D'Moris Russell Go To Post
umm ok the still have the cap room exception, and 2 mil- 4 mil depending on that cap raise.
Derrick Williams isn't an NBA player so this isn't really a good contract.
Other than LMA, this FA period is going by pretty quickly.

Orlando restricted free agent Tobias Harris has reached agreement on a deal to re-sign with the Magic, league sources tell RealGM.
