I'm not saying if you put in effort you're going to be Tony Allen/Scottie Pippen/Bill Russell level but you sure as shit aren't going to be a liability on that side of the floor.
No they're usually dying on screens, biting on fakes, over compensating for lack of quickness, etc. The Harden matador defense is note worthy because it's blatant when you see it, but that only happens once every few plays. The stuff that happens on every possession? That's what kills your defense.
Tony Parker will never be an average defender, no matter how hard he tries. Russell Westbrook is also a liability, and that's only because he tries too hard.

Even if they sign every FA they're after they're still a fringe playoff team at best.
It's just insane to watch that franchise oscillate between giving the draft a go and then throwing out that plan at the first whiff of Rondo.

Danny Green is good at his role, extremely good.
Rondo was a bottom 5 starting PG in the NBA last year and quit on his team during the playoffs, and shot 30% from the line. This is incredible, even from you, lol.
