By SuperMalo Go To Post@AlexKennedyNBA: Source: Iman Shumpert has agreed to a four-year, $40 million deal with the Cavs. Last year is a player option.wow, anyone have the Cavs spending for the 2016 season?
lol is Gilbert jumping on SL&ENT and reading Gondo's posts?
If Wes thinks he's worth $60-75M, I guess $40M is about right for Shump.

By reilo Go To PostI don't feel bad about Aminu's contract anymore LOL.
11.25 a year for Danny Green>>>10 mil a year on Shump > 7.5 a year on Amiibo
That entire article takes every story and says essentially "admittedly other teams had better options and player admitted other factors were at play"
Y'all ignore all that and focus on chains and clothing.
As I said, I called EVEN BEFORE THe TWEETS CAME OUT that people were going to ignore the facts to latch on to anti-Kobe stuff and push the confirmation bias forward.
It played out accordingly. tea party level blaming Obama indeed

Like Jesus was able to turn water into wine, Lebron is turning all of those Shumps bricks into FORTY MILLION FUCKING U-S-of-A DOLLARS.
By reilo Go To PostDanny Green is a much better player than Shumps, what the fuck at those two contracts.Green loves that fam in SA. Plus, they land LMA, Spurs are instant favorites to chip next season.
Shumps demanding that extra $10M playing in Cleveland, Ohio tax.

RT @WindhorstESPN: Cavs commitments today are now roughly $240 million and LeBron James hasn't signed yet. And Brendan Haywood hasn't been traded yet.
By Face it Tiger.. Go To PostLebron "Jesus" James wrote that contract, forced the believers to sign shump.I already stole your Jesus joke.

Shump's gonna get $10 million per I bet.
By pilonv1 Go To PostImagine paying a combined $30+ million a year for Tristan Thompson and Iman Shumpertimagine paying $190m for your power forwards
By spooks Go To PostCan't wait to see what Delly gets.A least a mill for every knee he dived at.
Cavs gonna be at like 90+ mil when the dust settles, that's a lot of money betting that you can break the Cleveland curse.
Am I the only one who thinks $80 million for TT is more ludicrous than $40 million for Shumps? Progressive salary cap increases not withstanding.

If you scale Shump's contract up with the new cap, it's basically $6 or $7 million per year. Not crazy.

Great news about us signing PP. I've been wanting him since Doc came over. I REALLY hope we can land DJ now, though it's still a huge long shot.
By D'Moris Russell Go To PostCavs gonna be at like 90+ mil when the dust settles, that's a lot of money betting that you can break the Cleveland curse. If the contracts for Love, TT, Shumps, and LeBron are backloaded, they'll prob be ok, but still.

Artest and him were fighting in the playoffs then Artest joined the lakers the very next year. He trashed Bynum in the summer of 07. Bynum happily slurped up every contract we ever gave him.
My argument isn't that Kobe isn't a dick. It's that it's irrelevant. Lebron and Blatt were dicks to Love. Doesn't matter. If you're winning or poised to win, win now superstars will seriously consider you. If you're a bottom feeder fielding a broken 20 year vet and a handful of untested rookies, they won't. All of Kobe's antics don't drive away any of those guys if we're virtual locks for a top seed. And him offering to pass around Vanessa on a Merry go around don't make them sign either.
Nothing he said would sway the decision one way or another.
By D'Moris Russell Go To PostShelburne reported that DJ told his teammates he's probably coming back unless someone really woos him. I think he's a near lock to be back tbh.Holy crap today's been a great day for a lot of teams aside from the Blazers and Mavs. I'm not sure about the Knicks, but it's definitely better for the Lakers that they don't go all out right now on getting big FAs. Win now moves almost never work for them. It's better to build for the draft and then go big once you have found an all-star around whom to build.
David Aldridge @daldridgetnt 9m9 minutes ago
Dan Gilbert thought the new CBA in 2011 would devastate smaller revenue teams (which Cavs were at time). Today: $230M in new contracts.
What is the cavs current salary pre reupping Lebron. I mean they got to be pushing the upper limits of the luxury tax

HaveItAll's agent is a damned fool if he actually let's Larry Bird fleece him on 3 years/$32M with all these other deals dropping.
Just got home from work. What the fuck is going on? Respectable sources are tweeting that we have a chance? They talked to aldridge for 3 hours? I expected a hi bye meeting. McD trying to go balls deep
