Dallas offering Wes mathews $12 mil a year.
People didn't believe me when I said he might get it $12 or more...

There's gap to bridge between Wes Matthews and Mavs, I'm told - he wants $15 mil a year, Mavs thinking of deal starting at approx $12 mil

By Mamba Go To PostDallas offering Wes mathews $12 mil a year.12 is the max he should even get. He's a guy with all around potential but limits himself to a 3 and D guy that takes way too many 3's. Now coming off major surgery? fuck that.

By knux-future Go To Postdudes generally don't come back from an Achilles injury..especially those 30 and up.Wait, how old is Matthews?
Watching NBA YouTube highlights.
I don't think Kyrie's career-high 57 on the Spurs will ever get old: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXxt8hJbelo
Like a month after he dropped 55 on Portland. One of the games I was able to catch live last season. Fucking floored me all the 3s he was hitting in the 4th and OT. 27 points in the last 14 minutes of the game against the most disciplined defensive team in basketball.

Thunder restricted free agent C Enes Kanter will meet with OKC first as reported, but Blazers are monitoring, may want to talk w/Kanter.
Kanter and Aminu. Ouch.

By Mamba Go To PostMiddleton getting 5 years, $70 million. Not the full max, surprisingly.that's very good for Bucks, damn
By fertygo Go To Postthat's very good for Bucks, damnExtremely good. In 2016, just 15% of cap or so. Nearly 10% in 2016. That's a steal, especially if he improves.
It's like getting him for $8 million before next year.
Mamba is to salary caps and contract figures what I am to offensive playbooks.
Be an agent already dude.
Also, why did no one tell me Stanford runs the triangle offense? As our resident NCAA expert, I blame you IWMTB

By blackace Go To Postdespite having a decent owner Portland is a pretty bad organization,
Explain.
By db Go To PostExplain.
think it's pretty self-explanatory...
from how they handled Bill Walton to drafting Bowie and Oden.
Seems like most players, coaches and FO people leave there with bitter feelings.
They seem to handle injuries poorly as well...
Great fanbase and a deep-pocketed owner but a poorly ran organization all-in-all
Not Bobcats poorly but...
Woj confirms:
Now just give me Biyombo and I'm completely satisfied.
Lopez, 27, will receive a three-year, $60 million maximum contract that includes some protections for the Nets should a recurrence of Lopez’s foot issues sideline him again, sources said. The deal is expected to incude a player option after the second season, which would allow him to re-enter free agency once new television money raises the salary cap. That's entirely fair. Hugely pleased with this. Brook is truly loyal. I've no doubt he could've gotten a similar offer from other teams.

So Knicks have already met with Corey Brewer and Greg Monroe. Brewer is interesting because that's definitely a defensive SF that'll allow Carmelo to play PF.
I would've thought Knicks would be in play for Carroll... guess not.

Marc Berman @NYPost_Berman 7 hours ago:o
Knicks starting trek in Washington DC with Falk and Monroe tonight before moving on to LA for Jordan-Aldridge.
From Hahn's tweet, sounds like Knicks will ask Monroe to take a little less than max like they did Melo to squeeze 3 decent FAs. Interesting
By The Frankman Go To PostI would've thought Knicks would be in play for Carroll… guess not. Why?
Like, not asking that as a troll question. Knicks are obviously down at the moment. Why would Caroll be going there? Unless Knicks massively over pay.

Carroll said the knicks we're in play on his part.

I mean Knicks are meeting with alot of guys and half of them they know ain't coming. And Carroll said he wouldn't mind playing in NY.
By The Frankman Go To PostSo don't even make an offer?"Wouldn't mind" is a very PC answer pending the question.

And Carroll, to my mind, isn't a guy you build around, he's a complimentary piece. Like Wes Matthews. It would seem insane for the Knicks to give Wes a near max.
Just seemed like a weird choice. They have bigger holes to fill.
Kanter, Vonleh, Leonard has to be the least basketball savvy frontcourt for an NBA team in the last decade at least. Zero court awareness whatsoever from any of those guys.
Just reading about how much it will benefit KD to sign an additional 1-year deal after next season since he can then get a 35% max.
If that's what he does, we could be playing the 2016-17 season with Durant, Ibaka and Westbrook all as impending free agents. Not sure I can handle that.

Why the hell are we in talks with Corey Brewer?! The hell man...Celtics the only young rebuilding team that don't develop their young talents. We about to be a a treadmill rebuilding team
I wonder if the rumor the bucks want Tyson is true? I think he would be exactly what that team needs.
