we have too much tank karma tho/
Embiid is dead until he's outta this shithole
Well, only pop and few guys(Riley, etc...) have earned the respect/faith from fans to say that.
I mean, if Vlade or Phil said that we'd clown him.

hinkie did the right thing--if you feel you can upgrade from your assets, then do so, regardless of public perception. he made the right move because MCW is trash.
because this part:
Carter-Williams is a perfect example: Hinkie hit well enough to land the Rookie of the Year, but decided to put those winnings back into the system to grab a future Laker first-rounder. If one of the three centers hits, but isn't a superstar Hinkie wants to keep, chances are that player will be flipped, possibly for another draft pick.

I'm at a stage where if that's the difference i wonder how much you have to baby sit that player through out the year. And how much the FO is going to have to pander to him.
I think Cuban not showing up to Derons meeting at all was sorta dumb (good in retrospect I guess). But if Derons meeting was at 2am then......

Ssrly. MCW is pure, concentrated garbage. Cutting your losses when you can is a good call.

Perhaps a small tip for LaMarcus Aldridge suitors is he loves playing alongside fellow Blazers free agent big man Robin Lopez, a source said

A better tip would be not to try to recreate a worse version of LMA's current team while offering him less money.

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostThe Pels really don't want to acknowledge Davis as a C I guess
I guess they want to keep him healthy in the regular season, but I would be pretty shocked if they didn't have AD as a full time 5 in the playoffs since Gentry saw Draymond could do at center.
Heard Gentry in the radio the other day. Really liked him talk. Akniwledged things they did right with GSW and how he's going to bring some of that to NO. Talked abut offensive and defensive efficiency and how really wants them to be an up tempo squad. . Gonna be fun to watch that team.

It's all matchup based though. Clevelands bigs were shit finishers and too slow, and could only hurt with offensive boards.
I think Lopez and Davis is a good combo. You play them for 20-25 mins a game together and it gives Davis the chance to chase some guys on the perimeter or roam from a guy who doesn't need to be guarded closely. If they go small he's a killer 5. But they need someone to help with a Marc Gasol.
There's so much talk about guys being a certain position in the draft, but you had Barnes at the 4 and Green at the 5 in the finals. If guys can play they should play, find a way to get them on the court. Having Lopez doesn't stop them from playing Davis at centre for long stretches, it just allows them more flexibility in matchups.
And at least it gives them another big who can catch a ball instead of frying pan hand Asik.

Going to be crazy shit happening everywhere now
The revenue numbers upon which the cap is based came in healthier than anticipated, which could lead to significantly more pending room per team in the free agency period that kicks off at 12:01 a.m. ET.
Teams have been operating on an estimated cap of $67.1 million for the 2015-16 season, but the National Basketball Players Association revealed at the annual agents' summit in Los Angeles this week that the actual cap is expected to come in at least $1 million higher, and perhaps as much as $2 million higher, two people familiar with the matter said. The official number won't be set until July 8, when league audits will be completed at the end of the league's moratorium period on free-agent signings. Players and teams can begin negotiating deals after midnight ET Wednesday.

But this also raises the max salary as well so it's hard to know to actual effect. More cap space for teams, regardless.

By thekad Go To PostWhat will Gondo's excuse be when Presti tells Kanter to kick rocksThere's virtually no chance of that happening. Even if Enes doesn't sign initially we'll match any offer he receives.
Despite his sizeable deficiencies, he's still only 22 and has incredible offensive skill. He's a dumpster fire on defense but hopefully Donovan can figure out a way to minimize his negative impact on that end.
